Far from impressed with Dr Corneman. Less then welcoming first impression. Super pleasant to his staff. He asked numerous times the same questions with me clearly stating I didn't recall the previous Dr's name who removed my ganglion cyct and even told him I answered that question. Found him useless and terrible patient dr rapport. He had the audacity to send an unpleasant followup to my nurse practitioner as to why I was there and the other dr hadn't followed up with me. Again, answered that question too. Wouldn't recommend!! Like I said far from impressed from start to finish. P.S. don't pay the 3 dollar parking fee when you can park on the street for FREE.
Please do not buy any item from this place . I went in underground facility, no signal there and they showed me compression gloves. I thought it might give relive truth it didn’t . So I decided to buy by trusting them . They sold me gloves for 53$ when the company who produces that gloves sell it for 14$. DO NOT BUY anything from this place . Will comment on physio next time.
I’m curious to know when the same day cancellations will stop with Dr. Corneman? 4 times since June. When will the administrators start calling people back that they say they will call back to re-schedule? As a patient that’s been referred who hasn’t even been seen and already being neglected, I can imagine it only being worse actually being seen. Moving on from this wreckage.
Dr Jewer is great, she has been very supportive and reassuring about treating my 2x rare nerve issues. Also, PT Lynn has been AMAZING; an all around great human being, and very caring. Unfortunately I have to give a lower rating because of the front office staff. I'm not sure why, but they always seem completely miserable, can be quite rude and it's extremely difficult to get through to someone by phone. I was having a very uncomfortable post surgery issue at home alone and it took me 15+ calls I lost count to get through to the front desk; there was no option to leave a voicemail when I was calling either. I wish the front office staff could be a friendlier, more helpful bunch.
Dr Jewer is absolutely awesome. This was my first surgery and she made me feel comfortab. Thank you Dr Jewer and all the nurses that help on the day of my surgery
I was pondering whether or not to do a posting, but it bothers me so much I feel I need to. I seen Dr. Schringa on April 26th, this was my initial consultation with him that lasted 2mins. I've been I pain for more than 2 years, I have arthritis pain in my right hand and it can be severe at times. He says to me he can do an injection and I said no and that I have already had one and it did not last and I do not want another. He tells me there is nothing else he can offer me. I in turn asked him what about an operation? His reply was that he didn't feel I was a good candidate because of my job. I drive truck for a living , the hardest thing I do is shifting gears. So he leaves the office and the receptionist comes to me and hands me a form to get an exray done and maybe he may make an appt in the future this doctor is smog arrogant and rude good luck get a second opinion.
I met with Dr. Schringa this morning. Sadly this turned out to be a huge waste of my time, money, and resources. I was sent here by WSIB. He had my previous medical records so that also came with his own bias and predeterminations rather than looking at me as the patient - and seeing what he could do. He made up his mind long before I got there. However, he agrees something is causing my wrist pain - but no WSIB doctor is willing to find out what. News Flash: MRI’s don’t catch everything! And he didn’t even bother with trying to look at my other wrist - which is the whole reason I was sent there in the first place!! It’s pathetic how doctors aren’t even willing to practice full patient care anymore. Particularly WSIB paid doctors. I will find a doctor who will actually look at the whole arm. UPDATE: New imaging found additional problems - this one missed it as did the first specialist because neither were willing to look further. The arrogance of these entitled self-proclaimed "know-it-alls" clearly need their ego's checked! Now I'm living proof this one and the other one seriously dropped the ball! Always advocate for yourself. 2nd UPDATE: Ulnar Impaction Syndrome found in left wrist the wrist I was referred to him for - had this "specialist" bothered to do any imaging it would have been found sooner.
Really poor response from reception. You could call 10 times and never have anyone actually taken the call. They keep changing appointments at will. Barely any proper follow up.
Dr Jewer has been great on getting my wrist back up and running. TFCC tear on my left wrist. She’s very knowledgeable in her field. All around great experience. I wouldn’t be worried about coming here. You’ll be in great hands.
My son broke his hand and had appointments with Dr. Corneman, and the doctor canceled on him 3 times, and those cancellations were on the SAME DAY. 3 times is crazy. When patients themselves cancel on the same day, theres always a minimum $50 fee. Very unprofessional and time consuming for my son. Thank you.
