Why no wheelchair access?? Also right when you first walk in there's attitude from this place...seriously?? Suppose to be kind..then it just gets worse when you meet the Physiotherapists here..if you can, find someplace else to go, I know I am

Very unpleasant experience with one of the Physiotherapists at this location
She never even introduced herself to me. I had to find her name from their website.
I began to ask questions myself about my condition based on what she was asking me throughout the assessment.
It was obvious she was becoming irritated. When I asked her about my discs she became quite exasperated, sighed heavily as she left the room to get a model of a spine to show me. After this she sat down let out another sigh, wanting to move on with the assessment. At this point I said “You clearly don’t want to help me. We’re done here.”
She was very unprofessional in her behavior towards me. An unwelcome experience from someone in a caregiving profession.

No consideration for mental health, or low income patients whatsoever. Worst customer service (at both this location and their sister clinic)
I'm a 31 year old suffering from bi polar and degenerative disk disease.
Ontario Disability Support Program will not cover treatment, and holding the monopoly on OHIP funded physio, Advantage decides who gets in the door. An unexpected missed appointment fee of $80 is more than I am able to afford.
I walked down in person because staff refused to communicate via email as requested on the patient information form (as I don't have a phone). I offered my apologies, and explained the reason I believe a missed appointment fee to be extortion. The receptionist refused to accept 8 $10 post dated cheques I offered as my only feasible option. I was told to wait until the manager returned, and a month later, Sue suggested I save up.. kind of hard to do when living BELOW THE POVERTY LINE AFTER BEING ASSAULTED BY THE POLICE, AND HAVING FALSE ALLEGATIONS PREVENTING ME FROM OBTAINING GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT... there is no treatment for my PTSD available, victims services don't support victims of police violence (it would be a conflict of interest, as they work with the police) and criminal injuries compensation accepts the perception of the officers who assaulted me, even though there is surveillance video which contradicts their alternative facts
So much for healing and moving on.....
