I came here on a Friday morning with a family relative. I like that the location is very hidden. As for the menu, it is very limited but the items were very unique. I love the set-up inside, very cute! The souffle pancakes were very delicious and although my whipped cream slid off, I still love how it looks in the photo. The drinks are very good and flavored naturally which I love and the mocha cappuccino was also very delicious! I'm not sure I'll be back since I'm not from the area, but give it a shot! It is well worth the wait! :
I've only successfully made souffle pancakes twice at home, so it was wonderful to try them in a cafe! These were lovely and light, as they were meant to be. It felt like biting into a lightly sweet cloud. Prices were reasonable. Staff were friendly and we didn't wait long for our order. I'd definitely come back!
Great little spot for a quick bite to eat, or a great place to hang out with your friends. The pancakes are delicious, fluffy and soft. The toppings are delectable. I tried the taro and the Earl grey: both are so good. I’m going to have to try the other flavors the next time I’m in Chicago. Definitely a place to stop to relax and get a coffee.
The fluffiest pancakes I have ever had. I tried the soufflé pancakes for the first time and loved it. The texture was soft and light, the sweetness was subtle and perfect. I also tried the Kyoto matcha latte which was good. My friend tried the kiwi refresher which wasn’t the best. They service was pretty quick and the staff were friendly.
Japanese custard pancakes were beyond wonderful! The matcha is absolutely disgusting so stay away, hence I had no clue what I was getting myself into. Luckily I *not pictured* got a pineapple fruit tea and it was marvelous. Will be stopping by. Heaven in mouth when that pancake enters.
It’s like a Japanese cheesecake and pancake made a baby, and these delicious pancakes are their offspring! Seriously a unique and delicious treat. And the matcha latte, cold or hot, you can’t go wrong. The service is also friendly and fast. Great little place.
We came within an hour they opened for the day on a Sunday and it was packed inside already. We did not have to wait for the table but we waited 40-45 mins for the food, which we were warned when we ordered. The fluffy pancakes came out jiggly, and fluffy, and absolutely adorable. We got custard pancakes and earl grey & salted caramel pancakes. Both were delicious. The custard ones remind me of creme brûlée given the torched sugar glaze on top. The earl grey cream was also refreshing and addictive. The fluffy pancakes themselves are not as light as I thought and it would definitely fill you up. The price is not terribly unreasonable given how much they give you. The space inside is very cute and simple, their aesthetic matched their fluffy pancakes surely. I think there are three main things: 1. It would be nice to get water while waiting. 2. I wish the pancakes were warmer when they came out. 3. I’d love have a third of the portion for a smaller price tag so I can try out other flavors as well. If theres a way to mix and match, that would be great as well!
I came here twice already and it's so good! There pancakes taste like what a cloud looks like it would taste : not too sweet, fluffy and spongy. And the location is also cute! It does get packed, I've gone when they open because of that, but it's worth waking up early for. Food: 5/5
Very delicious pancakes!! Not overly sweet. The food takes a while to get cooked, but I understand Japanese Pancakes take time to get cooked. Totally worth it though! The place is small, so if it's packed you are gonna have to wait in line for a table
Was the food worth the wait? YES definitely! Yes it did take a long time to get your food if you’re dining in on a Saturday morning because they prioritize take-out orders. But like it wasn’t too bad tbh, it’s a nice environment to just catch up with friends and drink your matcha latte while you wait for your food. I would come back on a non-busy day for sure
