Hampton Inn & Suites Pocatello

Great service! Very comfortable beds! Awesome large hot tub! Free breakfast was great with a large variety of food! Great service. We've stayed a few times over the past year and have never had an issue!

Fairly clean and simple.Pretty similar to Holiday Inn.Simple being the key word in this price range.Next to freeway exit.Large flat screen TV.Fridge in a room, but not a microwave.I was told microwave was available in a lobby, but was too lazy to check it out. They do have a swimming pool, which is not accessible 24/7.It opens at 6 am , but do not expect any clean towels before 11.00 .Would be nice to have some pool toys for kids and swim diapers available for babies.I also love hotels, where there is a shower next to the pool so you can shower right away before and after swimming. Room had an iron and ironing board, but no hair dryer.

The room was comfortable but very very small for the price! I stayed in the king suite and let me tell you if I was a king there would be some dead peasants! Have you ever woken up at three in the morning and decided to eat the left overs you have from the night before! Well I grab them and then ensue to search for a microwave.... come to find out there is no bleeping microwave in the king suite!!!!

Our drama department stayed here because we had a state competition nearby the people at the front desk were completely rude. We got yelled multiple times for being loud. ( we weren’t they just needed a reason to yell at 16 year old kids) and none of our rooms were together everyone was on different floors even though none of the rooms were in use. We were not told the hotel was being remodeled there was dust everywhere. They refused to give our bus driver a late check out even though he had to drive us 10 hours. The elevator broke and the doors still opened and a principal from another school almost fell down the shaft... The bathroom doors didn’t close and didn’t lock and when you shower they door opens by itself.. very inconvenient. also when you open the front door to your hotel room you can see right into the bathroom.. the boys from another school in the room next to us had a room where the plumbing wasn’t hooked up so water poured all over the floor also our room wasn’t never cleaned and I had a black light from my project for state the sheets were nasty !!! Pretty sure some children were conceived

I had to give this a one star as you can't give it a zero rating and with the treatment our group had with the staff and management at this hotel they definitely don't deserve any stars. I am the activity secretary at a high school and I book rooms all the time and we stay at a variety of hotels. To start, Molly the general manager, did not return my calls 5 different times. Finally one time I called the front desk and she answered and I told her I had been waiting for a contract and that we were a school and tax exempt and set up for direct bill. She promised to get me it. I waited another month and many more messages. We finally decided to pay by credit card as they were getting close to having to leave. I sent the rooming list and our bookkeeper sent over the credit card authorization. Our groups shows up and they didn't have our reservations and so it took awhile and then they spread them all over the hotel and this is a group of high school kids. They also said they didn't have our payment information which our bookkeeper had emailed over the day prior. They were really rude to our parents, chaperone and our principal. We stayed 2 nights and on the 2nd day they even threatened to kick out all the kids. Still staying they hasn't received payment information, which they had. Then they refused to let our bus driver have a late check out. I had requested one and if I ever had gotten the contract from Molly I would have made sure it was in there. All I have are my email trail as proof and I had it on our school purchase order as we payed for an extra night so he could check out late. They were still refusing and finally our bookkeeper on her time off at home had to resubmit a picture of it and change the wording. On top of everything else they were doing construction which they told me but they didn't tell us the pool was under construction and so the kids were really bummed they couldn't use the pool.. Our principal couldn't sleep well as they were pounding on the elevators right outside her room and when she requested to be moved they refused. In the beginning If I had known that a fraction of this would happened I never would have had our 20 plus group of kids stay there. I felt very responsible for the group as I had booked it and they were all treated so poorly. The district has told me that we can never use this place again as they had there own nightmare dealing with them. This is my first review and I usually can forgive a lot of stuff but this was just way beyond how anyone should be treated.
