Hampton Inn & Suites Jamestown, ND

Hotel is under construction. Beds and room was clean for the most part. Bathroom and shower were not very clean. Plaster and dust everywhere. In the hall were construction supplies and machines. Coffee was terrible in the room and the only cream they had was flavored. Would not recommend until they finish construction.

If we are going through on I 94 in the future we would choose to stay here again! Clean room and all conveniences provided. A restaurant was across the street which was very nice. Continental breakfast was very good and filling! I highly recommend staying here if in Jamestown.

Recently stayed and there was an issue that the kind staff particularly Gerald, resolved immediately. The hotel facilities were well maintained and removed during our stay but we didn’t see or hear a hammer. I recommend this hotel.

We stopped for the night and were well pleased with both the clean, spacious room and the wonderful front desk service. A glitch in the computer system was handled with aplomb and good customer service. AND, the Walmart is a short walk away for those “mid trip” necessities.

My in laws stayed here while visiting us for six days supposed to be 7 and the beginning of their stay was all good. But while at lunch with us the day of their final night in the hotel they got a call that because they had not checked out that the staff would be going into their room and packing up there stuff immediately. The problem was that my in laws had one more night to stay at the hotel! They had even called multiple times in advance to confirm their reservation as they always do for hotels. Well something went wrong in the hotels system and didn’t log the final night. The lady who spoke to them was incredibly rude. Then when they got back to the hotel and had packed up there stuff and tried to talk to the lady to show their documentation. She refused to speak with them and just walked away. My in laws are incredibly polite and respectful to people. They had already been paying guests at the hotel for 6 nights and to be treated this way is ridiculous. Even if the mistake was with my inlaws then there are appropriate ways to handle it. This was cruel, rude, and unprofessional. They will never be staying here or any other Hampton inns again and we will not be either. This was a horrific experience that cause undue stress to us and wasn’t handled with even the tiniest shred of decency and the hotel was in the wrong!!! We have the receipts!! we will continue filing complaints up the ladder.
