Good Clean establishment. Was bumped up to a Kind Suite, cause they were out of just King rooms, so that was cool, with no extra charge. Not much of view out the window, but I was there only to sleep anyway. Disappointed in the breakfast. Breakfast was from 6-9, I got there about 8:30, and there was only about a scoop of scrambled eggs left, and few breakfast potatoes, everything else was gone. So, I grabbed an apple and a cup of coffee. Front desk personnel were really friendly checking in and out. Location is easy to get to, and overall the place was clean and comfortable.
Very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived we were told the elevator was out of order and there were no rooms available on the first floor. A couple of people in our group of 12 have difficulty with steps, let alone hauling their bags up the steps. Breakfast was a bust. Food was cold, bread and pastries were left out over night and dried out, juices were extremely watered down, waffle machine was not working.nRooms were ok at best.
I want to thank all of the staff for their compassion and caring for me when I stayed there, it was a very sad time for me as our family laid to rest my 2 great grandsons.nThis place helped extent my stay so I could spend more time with my family, I will defiantly stay here again,nThank you again to all that helped make my stay worth the trip.nComfort Inn of Jamestown NDnBest motel by far!!!
Do not stay here! Unfortunately all the better hotels in the area where taken for tonight. The vent was so dusty that it flared my allergies. Even if its an outdated room, do you not take pride in your cleaning? This is a sanitary concern. Mold, dust. The front desk did switch us to a “better” one after expressing our concerns. Thank goodness I am carrying cleaning supplies to disinfect the room. We are traveling cross country and came in late. All we wanted was a clean room to rest our eyes while we continue to drive to our destination. We will be waiting for a resolution from the location and company. I will be leaving ASAP.
We were informed about no elevator after we checked in. Hauled all of our stuff to a room not cleaned and a big piece of construction equipment in the middle of the room. Back down stairs, relayed my findings to clerk. Oh, I forgot that.nAnother room was ready but when we went to bed the pillows were like rocks. We had to resort to balled up clothing for pillows. No ice machine working. I will ditto the other reviews about this grubby little hotel.nThe clerk did knock half of the bill but clearly not enough to compensate for throwing my bach out for the rest of our trip.
