Econo Lodge

Basic motel room at low price. Room was clean and breakfast was basic as expected for such a low price. Check-in is across the parking lot at the Super 8, which was no big deal. Lobby was clean and so was parking area. Near a shopping mall with some eating options. Overall a very good deal for the price but certainly not a fancy hotel.

We ended up in the handicap accessible room. It had a shower and there was use soap left behind. On the floor there was a dried grape stem, and there was a partially used cigarette on the floor between the bed and the window. The room smelled clean, but we could smell smoke in the hall. The most disappointing thing was that the walls are quite thin and we heard somebody talking a good portion of the night. I believe the hotel owner or the manager has a place that they stay that is adjacent to the handicap room. They do have a complementary breakfast, bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs, toast, and you can go from the Econolodge to the super eight and use the pancake machine.

BEWARE! We called to book a room at this hotel because it was the only one left for a tournament we had to be at. WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN.nWe called their direct line to book, which sent us to a third party booker without notifying us. They proceeded to book our room for us and then charge us another $50 per night per room without us knowing. Upon checkout, the idiots gave us the third party booking receipt instead of our actual receipt so we could see the discrepancy and were confused. Come to find out we agreed to being SCAMMED but wasn't aware of it until after the fact. So just beware!! This is some shady business.nnSecond of all it is the most DISGUSTING hotel I have ever stayed in. It smelled of smoke, their parking lot is dirt, you have to walk across the parking lot for breakfast in the morning, there are absolutely ZERO amenities. It is completely run down with a paint job.nnI will sleep in my car next time before I pay what we paid to stay in this absolute DUMP of a hotel. You have been warned.nnMind you we travel 1-3 times a month and we have never had anything like this happen to us.nnIf I could give all zeros I would.

Where to begin. First,blood stains on both beds bedding. Floor was dirty. Price was good. Ac worked well. Other than cleaning not terrible.

What a wonderful surprise! Upon entering the building and walking down the hallway, it had a very nice clean smell. The room was clean and fresh smelling. Towels very nice, bedding nice. The only thing I found needing attention was the light fixture by the TV had two burned-out bulbs. We mentioned that to the asst. manager upon checkout and he was happy to know that and was going to pass it on to housekeeping.nnBreakfast was pretty standard continental but the area was clean.nnA lovely place to stay right off I-94 and next to the exit for Hi281.nnWe don't travel often but after the last several hotels being far less than stellar, this was a very welcomed clean hotel! The staff was kind too!
