Top notch service for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. * The receptionist was very polite and took immediate care of our registration. Quick check-in, no time lost. * The room was very clean, very spacious, and well illuminated. * The beds and sheets smelled nothing but clean, and the pillows and mattresses were comfy. * There were no loud noises during the night, very quiet stay. * The check-out process was also quite fast and simple, with no issues. <<< All really good in general. Nothing to complain about. >>> Room and Amenities: - Room: TV with plenty channels and enjoyable content for all ages. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker with available cups, coffee and consumables. - Bathroom: spacious and clean; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion were available in well-size dispensers; plenty of clean towels and a hair dryer were also available. - Common areas: clean, without particular odors in corridors or elevator. - Heated indoor pool: the water was very clean and warm; the size of the pool was perfect for kids and adults; plenty of clean towels, chairs and loungers available, also lifebuoy rings; it was not overcrowded, less than 10 people at a time. <<< We usually spend a lot of time having fun in pools, and this one was perfect for it. During the time we were there, we could notice that after people left the indoor pool area, the hotel staff came periodically to dry the floor of all the water that splashed around the pool and test the water quality with test strips. >>> - Breakfast: the dining area was very cozy and clean. The breakfast was all very tasty and offered many options to choose from, such as bread, bagels, waffles, muffins, cookies, eggs, ham, beans, butter, jam, peanut butter, fruits, cereals, milk, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, etc.; staff were continuously checking for missing items to restock. No complaints, and kids loved it. - Other amenities: * Parking lot was big and spacious with plenty of spots available. * Tea/coffee station available to guests. * Vending machines available for drinks and/or ice. The distance from downtown Ottawa was not a big problem and the roads were not overly congested at any time. We had the chance to met some of the staff during our stay and they were very friendly all along. It was really a great overall experience. Totally worth it and highly recommended!

Rooms are dated but clean. Super close to the airport which is convenient. The staff are fantastic. The night desk staff went out of their way to find a phone charger for us. The kitchen staff were friendly and breakfast was a hit with the kids.Rooms: 3/5

Breakfast was very good. Also, they have stuff available if you happen to forget something . I forgot my toothpaste and not only did they have it but it was free. Was completely prepared to pay for it but it’s these little details which makes it 5 stars . Clean, free shuttle and pool were also great.Rooms: 5/5

Almost everything about this hotel was great, until we checked out! The room, location, parking, breakfast staff, were all excellent. I did find the bed WAY too soft , but that was a personal preference. I did find the lack of a clock in the room was a concern, especially at night as we couldn't quite read the microwave. The real problem was when we checked out as the rate on the room was different from that quoted. The manager admitted that she had made an error and it was 'her fault' but as the rate was already 'in the system' , it could not be amended! We insisted on paying what we had been quoted, and eventually after an embracingly long argument, it was agreed! Unbelievable over such a small amount! The attitude of the manager, the sighs, lack of eye contact, abruptness, were all very unprofessional and really soured what had been an otherwise pleasant visit.

Very impressed with this hotel. Salt water pool was great, nice and warm. Hotel was very clean, good breakfast included. Helpful staff. Great value for the price. Would stay again for sure.

Convenient if you’re catching a plane or shopping. Hotel is slightly dated, but the room is comfortable, and the HVAC system works great. The treadmills in the gym should be replaced. However, the hotel staff was courteous, the breakfast bar offers a variety of hot and cold items. Skipped the complimentary breakfast? No worries. They have speciality bags near the reception. I would recommend this location.

We stayed 1 night. Parking was free, staff was friendly and had a quick check in. The room was great in size and had a very comfortable bed. The free, included breakfast was great too with loads of options. Would stay again!

I’ve often stayed within the Hilton chain but very happy with the Hampton inn brand. Clean rooms and gives you everything you need. Breakfast is very good and always enjoy the homemade waffles. Digital keycard access, app check in and out so no need for front desk interactions if you want to skip the line.

Stayed here twice. First was great but this time, after requesting and having late check out at noon approved, 2 people knocked on the door just after 11 asking when we were leaving. I told the first guy, we are leaving at 12 and 5 minutes later another guys knocks! Communicate! Also, we brought friends this time and they had same approved 12 pm check out. They had a do not disturb sign on the door and at 11:05 a guy knocked and asked if they had any garbage? Clearly there is no communication. Do the cleaning staff not get a schedule or list with rooms and times, to clean? Not a deal breaker but annoying after 2 different people knocked and asked when we were leaving.

My wife and I stayed at Hampton Inn airport in Ottawa from 4-7 Jan/23. We were there for a funeral so were not around very much at the hotel. As always at a Hampton, we selected a king room, and have never been disappointed. The breakfasts are excellent too of course, and this location was up to the expected standards. But I'm writing this review primarily to pass a huge "thank you" along to Iris at the desk. We most frequently interacted with her, as she was on the late afternoon/evening shift for all three nights of our stay. Finding her behind the desk with her huge smile of welcome, was especially helpful as we returned from funeral events. And as the warm chocolate drink packages were never available in the late evenings, she immediately went to a back room and gave us a few! A little touch of kiondness, much appreciated, from an excellent hotel staff member. Thanks much again Iris. It was a pleasure meeting you.
