The best lobster I've had thus far in Nova Scotia. The service was great and it was a unique experience. You have to pick your lobster, order the food and pay for it in the gift shop. Then you take your lobster to the cookhouse and leave it with the Chef or watch it being cooked. You then wait for you food in the restaurant or outdoors next to the harbour. The lobster is served with napkins and other apparatus to eat it.

Reading previous reviews we were a little apprehensive to go for lunch. We had great comments from friends so who was right! We decided to go today. Weather was beautiful. One complaint was you had to pay upfront, Tim's, McDs, etc, you pay first. Too much for portion size, took too long. Life is too short, good food takes time to prepare. My wife and I both had the lobster roll. Awesome. Lots of lobster not much mayo. All tables around us seemed to enjoy their food as well. Wait staff was very attentive. Highly recommend and we will return.

Great place to visit, walk down to the water while you wait for your order. Its out of the way but great service and fast. Lobsters can get to over 3 pounds. Had the 2 pound plus and were great. You take take home live or will cook on the spot for you. They have a resto as well if your looking to be served. Definitely worth a stop.

The food was good but the restaurant definitely uses their excellent location to overcharge and under serve. It was off-putting that they did not even serve water at the table. The extent of the service was bringing us our order which we had to place ourselves at the counter. Impressed by the view and enjoyed the food but better service would have improved the experience.

Neat concept (pick the animal you will eat). Don't go here if you're in a rush, you will be here at least an hour. Lobsters are well cooked and served with clarified butter - it's not cheap but considering the price of lobster right now very reasonable.
