Our cafe offers a fresh daily lunch menu. We also offer our "Grab & Go" frozen entrees, soups and desserts.
We're located on the grounds of the old Horton High school at 9701 Commercial Street. The Edible Art Cafe straddles the border between the villages of Greenwich and New Minas, Nova Scotia. Look for the old brick gates of the High school, as the cafe is set back from the road, and almost directly across Commercial Street from Deep Hollow Road.
Our food selection includes Ariell's famous baked goods, breakfast, as well a different soup, salad, and sandwich made fresh daily. An extensive "grab & go" line of frozen soups and entrees is also available for takeout at the incredible price of 5 meals for $20. The coffee is organic and fair trade from North Mountain Coffee, a local roaster located in Berwick.
Upon entering the space, it's clearly more than a cafe, with vaulted ceilings and lots of local art displayed for sale. Lots of new handmade local wares are always arriving for you to peruse as you wait for your latte.
Toward the back of the cafe is a small stage for music performances, a comfortable seating area, and a large movie screen with projector. Live music is featured six days a week from noon to 2pm, culminating with the Saturday Brunch from 10am-3pm featuring a delicious Eggs Benedict.
Many of the tables themselves are works of art, as we are the official showroom for Live Edge Direct, featuring one of a kind, rare hardwood tables. Check out our Facebook page, valleyevents.ca, and the Grapevine for more info and listings of special events.
Awards/Recognition: Edible Art Cafe was the recipient of the "Outstanding New Business of the Year" award for 2014, from the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce. We've also been recognized with the TripAdvisor 2016 Certificate of excellence.
