Paddy's Brewpub & Rosie's Restaurant

I don't usually write reviews, let alone bad reviews but this was the worst experience I've ever had at a pub or restaurant. Maybe it was just too busy? But the service was horrendous. We were not greeted at the door and had to find someone to be seated. Once seated we had a different server give us water. Then a different server from that one took our drink orders. She then suggested we move indoors and to "sit anywhere". However a different server from that told us that we need to move to a different table to make room for the band. We sat at a different table and the original server came back and suggested we move to a tiny 2 seater table tucked away at the corner of the bar. When I asked if this seat was reserved, she said no but they're expecting a large group of people. A different server said it was fine and to sit there. My friend and I were there first and were paying customers. Why give priority to people who "might" be coming later, when they didn't even reserve ahead of time? We left promptly, since the server didn't come see us for at least 10 minutes after speaking with us. Like I said earlier, maybe they were understaffed for the volume of people in the restaurant - but my experience was horrible and I'll never be coming back.

I found it a little overpriced for what is offered, although it is in Wolfville so you pay a bit of a premium for that. My husband had Bangers and Mash and he enjoyed it, the sausages are made there. Unfortunately my one piece fish and chips ($10.99) was not the best. The batter was thick rather than light and it and the fries were pretty greasy. The fish was only OK. I felt a little yucky afterwards even though I didn't finish it. There are definitely better options on the menu.

Have eaten here many times but found my last visit the quality of the food has gone down. I usually order the chicken BLT wrap and this time it came out about 10 mins after ordering but was colder than usual and was made with less sauce. Still a good local pub, maybe just a different line cook that night.

Great food. Tasty and well prepared and arrived at our table HOT. The server was friendly and accommodating. Would we come here again? ABSOLUTELY!!

Awesome beer made right on the spot combined with excellent food an service. Couldn't ask for more. Try their blueberry beer.
