Guildwood train station - VIA Rail

A self-serve type of station and very quiet, I feel like if you decide to arrive 10 minutes before your departure, you should be fine

This is a recently renovated station and it was clean and bright with lots of parking available. Easy to navigate through with fairly clear directions. We were travelling by VIA to Ottawa on this day.

GO station with ample parking spots! No complaints, other than the main road including the closest TTC stop is a bit of a walk away! Make sure to allot a 7-10 minute walk from the GO train station to the bus when planning trips accordingly!

It is a nice looking clean station but there is no amenities, stores, snack bar or anything to keep you occupied when you are waiting for your 3 hour delayed VIA train. Only the info boards that were working were for the GO train. No information for any of the VIA trains. You are left on your own to figure out where/when the train arrives.

More people need to know about Guildwood VIA RAIL Station! I didn't know about this option until I planned a trip to Montreal. I wanted to take the earliest train, but I live in North Scarborough, it will take me an hour to get to Union Station by transit. Then I found out about Guildwood station, which is only 20 minutes away. It's just perfect!nnI took Uber to the station. The facility is so clean and bright. It's easy to navigate. I especially like the fact that it's a very short distance from the entrance to the platform unlike in Union Station. It took me no time to get to my assigned platform. I highly recommend Guildwood station to Markham/Scarborough residents for your next VIA train trip.
