Grouse Creek Motel

We came to visit from London and loved staying at the Grouse! The motel is centrally located and very close to the skytrain (10min walk). The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Guest rooms are neat, clean, and spacious. Our room was close to the stairwell which was very easy access to the parking lot. I would ignore the negative reviews of this place. We recommend it and will definitely be staying here for our next visit to BC!

Very clean and quiet. 10 minute walk to sky train, very central to shopping/grocery. Great staff and front desk service 24 hours. Also really comfortable beds. Can’t complain for the price! Did I mention, free WIFI

For what we needed, quick and cheap, it was pretty good. If we had a big family or group with us it would have been perfect for our quick 'can't drive anymore' stay. We had a two bedroom apartment style suite. Could use some updating but the skylight was a nice touch for its time and a good surprise in morning.

"NO STAR" Cheap is cheap but it usually costs more in the end. I booked a week stay at Grouse Creek Motel in Surrey BC, when I woke up the second morning I was covered in spider bites. I went to the office to show the clerk the many incredibly itchy, swelled and infected spider bites that covered my body and he couldn't have cared less, he refused to even look at them. All the manager had to say is, "no refunds after check in". Needless to say I couldn't spend another night in that insect infested Dump. Not to mention the cigarette burns on all the furniture and blankets.. Oh and the cigarette bumming crack-heads for neighbors surrounding me every time I left the room.. Thankfully I was alone, I couldn't face my wife if I had brought her there.
