Amazing food. I tried their Philly steak, cheese burger and fries. All very good. Good quality and tasty meat. Good amount of sauce on sandwiches. You have to ask for ketchup. Very good service and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing Burger and fries I tried to spicy mushroom cheeseburger and it was incredible. Burgers are cooked on the Fire and they do a very good job here. It's a little pricey but you pay for a good gourmet burger $25 I believe with fries and a drink which is a pretty large fry and just a standard Coca-Cola. I was told they have a few locations I was in the Richmond Hill location and I gave it a try good job grill gate. Haven't had a burger this good in a while

Been meaning to try this place for a while now. A friend from work was raving about the Philly Cheese steak. After a long wait to visit the stars aligned and I have to say that I was disappointed I wasn't sure which was the star but this version I had the cheese seem to be. I found the sandwich under seasoned and for me the texture was off. The steak was soggy because of all the cheese and the flavor did not make me feel that it deserved the name Philly cheese steak. The staff was friendly however no one had come to check on us. I even had to get up twice to ask for hot sauce and more napkins and for an espresso and lastly the bill. My wife got a burger but didn't finish it. I took a bite and tasted the gas it was cooked on.Best part was the fries and my company. It's going to be hard to give them any of my money again. Good luck!

Great food. Really fresh, and amazing vibes, if you wanna take the missus here! Just a bit more expensive than one would think for the amount of food. Around 25 dollars for the sandwich, fries and drink if you sit in. But don't go in thinking its just the food. Its also the vibe and the phenomenal customer service!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last night for dinner. I have passed by it many times and finally decided to make my way in. We were not disappointed and so happy to have found this local gem. First off the restaurant has a cozy feel to it and is decorated quite nicely. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming and the little grill area had amazing smells coming from it. My boyfriend and I both ordered burgers I got the mushroom eggplant and he got the gourmet mushroom spicy cheeseburger. The patties are handmade, have the perfect thickness, and are very juicy with a great seasoning. The Bun was awesome and toasted perfectly. The french fries were crispy and seasoned great with a homemade dill sauce so delicious. The menu has a large number of pizzas, milkshakes, specialty coffee, and tea. The next time we return we will be trying their baguette-filled sandwiches...the owner Amir was so friendly and we had a nice chat with him about how he started. Dare I say the best Philly Steak Sandwich? If you don’t know about this spot then you have been missing out on what I think is the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich in Toronto. Their sandwiches are ginormous and the meat is so delicious but don’t forget about their other menu items because it is just as delicious. But did you know there is a @gate.cafe.richmondhill as well? One of my favourite burger places! Lots of delicious varieties. It's more expensive than other burger places, but it's larger and unique combinations. Beautiful and friendly staff too. Tried the spicy mushroom burger and 021.

A very high quality Halal place, everything was PERFECTLY prepared, very flavourful. Not too expensive, great value for your money. The fries here are fantastic, I highly recommend them. I had the guacamole burger, the beef patty was a great 8oz size and well made, maybe a slight bit dry but hardly noticeable. The guacamole is maybe a bit over seasoned with onion/garlic, I would prefer a more lemon-y avocado-ey flavour but maybe that's just me. I also got the Philly steak sandwich and boy was it good. The bread is really delicious which is important for a good sandwich. Then my wife got the Tenderloin steak sandwich - and it was hard to tell the difference between it and my cheese steak sandwich. Since they use the same sauce and bread, it seems just the meat is a bit different in terms of size and type of meat, but honestly while taking bites of each back and forth, we could not taste a difference at all. I would say go for the cheese steak if you can't decide between them because of the price difference. Service was friendly and the food came out fast, fresh, hot and tasty. Busy place by the time we left almost all of the tables were occupied. Definitely will repeat, we need to try the pizza next!

I have been wanting to try Grill Gate for a while and we were not disappointed! Fantastic selection on the menu and the portion sizes are large. You will be full after eating here! Highly recommend the Brisket poutine, it was our favourite. Would come here again!

My go-to burger joint in the entire GTA. The burgers were huge, tasty and full of flavours. Lots of choices of burger that will suit every taste. They even have pizza, deserts and mock drinks. I find the French fried a little too crispy to my taste, they put a little batter on them. Some people like them that way, it’s just a thing of mine. The burger was slight oily but not greasy. Too bad they don’t have wine and beer license.
