I recently visited Joe's Hamburger for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered the chicken shawarma and a hamburger, and both were fantastic. The chicken shawarma had a great flavor and the sauce was delicious. The salad was fresh and added a nice crunch to the meal. The hamburger was hearty and filling, with a juicy patty and all the usual toppings. Overall, I was really impressed by Joe's Hamburger. The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the mood for some good burgers and shawarma.
Delicious, fresh, and high quality food Love their fries! Nice and friendly staff Price range : $$ - Follow me for more reviews My Instagram: @mortgagebyarghavan
Very reasonably priced and friendly service. Popular place for takeout so I'd recommend ordering in advance if you don't want to wait. They also have a sit down area as well. My lamb plate was very good with half rice fries and a pita - very filling.Food: 4/5
Consistent amazing food! So glad we have them in our neighborhood. We usually get the lentil soup, chicken shawarma wrap, falafel wrap, fries and baba ganoush. Food is fresh, toppings are in plentiful and taste is amazing!! Great value for money as well. Can order online and pick up. I wish they had a delivery service!!
I think it was like $18 for a chicken shawarma dinner. Ok price, maybe a bit high, but everything is now. Food is really good, fresh, with excellent meat quality.
My family has been going here for over 15 years. Last night was the last time, which is sad. I arrived there at 4:30 pm and it was not busy, maybe two people ahead of me waiting for their orders. Ordered food and the price difference between the menu that was posted and the actual price I was charged was considerable. They obviously have raised their pricesyet again and have not bothered to update their menu that is posted by the cash ironic!. My food took 35 minutes to be ready. It was a simple order for two people, with no changes, or substitutions. People who came in way after me had their food ready long before I did, including one person who had a huge order. It does seem that this establishment favours customers who are personal friends of the owners and they are given priority. My 15-year loyalty does not seem to matter. To make matters worse, I asked a woman who was giving food when ready to customers to check on my order. She never came back with an answer. I had to ask someone else. Really disappointed in how I was treated and will not be back.
Visited Joe's with my 2 kids for dinner on Saturday. Ordered the chicken shwarma with rice and 2pc fish and chips. I know this place is not known for their fish and chips but my son really wanted it. I tried a small piece of the fish and it tasted really fishy. But I didn't think anything of it. Later at night my son vomited all over his bed. He vomited again in the morning. Anyways, stay away from their fish and chips.
I would give this place a zero for my meal if I could... I get it that your specialty might not be a fish sandwich, but when I'm charged $10 for one I expected a little more then a frozen Captain Highliner fish stick on a bun. Don't waste your money at this place!!!
I started going here as I went to a therapy clinic in same plaza. I honestly never thought a small restaurant could produce good, decent food of such a large variety in an out of the way place in Richmond Hill as I come from North York. I have had several things from the menu and I have been very impressed with the taste and quality of the food. I bet with such large staff they could make anything they put theirs minds to make. Always a line up here that would make a take out chain jealous. I never thought an out of the way place like this would have a restaurant capable of producing so many dishes well. I am surprised at how big a staff they actually have here as well which indicates a steady stream of customers know they have good quality food always available. I have done take out only but they have a very large dine in area for customers. Parking: this is in a small strip plaza and there is parking all around the plaza and at the back as well. there is very limited Disabled parking with signage however so you need to use a regular space to park. Wheelchair accessibility: the doors at at ground level with no ramps or stairs. someone would need to hold open the door as no automatic doors but most people go out with others to eat.
The burger and hotdog wasn't anything special, but it was fresh, and i honestly loved their sides more than the food itself. However, I saw lots of people having shawarma and souvlaki, which I didn't have, and I will try next time.Food: 5/5
