My experience with this store was very different from most other stores. It was 3pm on a Saturday, and I was hungry. Walking in, the waitress was sitting on a chair on the phone. I ask for a table but she tells me I need to order online. She also recommended I have a burger. So I order the king burger with fries and a can of coke. Once I have an order number, I return and she seems genuinely shocked I returned. I grab a seat on the patio and begin to use my phone. The burger takes a little longer than usual, but the waitress apologizes when the order arrives. Why does this review have 4 stars? It's absolutely delicious. Every bite of the burger is packed with brilliant flavor and was well worth the wait. However, the fries were average and I only ended up having half. The view was incredible though and I'm happy I got to experience it. Here's my recommendation: eat a snack before coming and enjoy the place as a change of atmosphere.
Went to yummis with my friend and the lady there was so friendly and helped us choose our meal. She suggested the king and queen burger and we loved them so much. Tasty and well cooked. The fries was delicious as well. The patio however can better in terms of cleaning and furniture.
Service was great. We were greeted the moment we walked in. They came around to our table couple of times to ask if we needed anything else, etc. Burger patties were flavourful and the bun was a perfect match. Fries was great too without the sauce on it. I definitely think the sauce they use, makes the food very heavy. I would ask for less sauce next time or get it on the side. Will visit again.
Phenomenal. We got there and spoke with the owner, Daniel. He recommended the King and Queen burger for my wife and I. Made one of them a combo. Excellent burgers, not salty, not excessively seasoned so the beef flavour comes out well. Their burger sauce was a good blend of flavors that mix well with the toppings. We went with tummy sauce on fries, really can't go wrong. We will definitely be back for another round soon.
Havnt been here in year, was always known as steer In burgers, was told it changed to Yummis few years back. We had the homemade burger which was great and fries with a home made sauce that we were greeted with upon entrance we were told this is what every first timer gets. Anyway food was good owners son is really nice and cheerful. Fries portion was a bit small and a little over priced. We payed about $16 tax in for burgers, little fries and a pop.
The place itself is a bit outdated, but the burger and fries were amazing. The burger was very big, fries decent, and the white garlic sauce they used was incredibly addictive. My only problem was the price point, I think they can easily drop the price of the burger as compared to other fast food burger joints it’s much more expensive.
Definitely not an old school burger joint! These enormous burgers are grilled to perfection, and come on a toasted sesame seed bun. The fries are also great and come with a dill mayo dipping sauce. The staff are extremely friendly and the patio is comfortable and well shaded.
They have the best burger in town! The king size is more than enough for two. really big You must try Dont forget to try their fries
I tried the king size. Food -5 Service-5 Deco-4.5 Cleanliness-4 Value for the price-4.5 Really friendly staff. Could have given 4.5 for cleanliness if washroom were clean. But you can be given 5 in average as the food was good
Not a terrible experience. Burger was great. Buttered toasted bun too. Deep fryer was off. Onion rings not great fries either and the poutine had processed liquid cheese on it. I think they specialize in Mediterranean food. Might try again. One room dining. Noisy even though it was empty
