Lovely place to walk/run/bike around the lake. Great park for meeting with friends, play outdoor games or have a picnic.
Great little park. Has swimming area with diving boards high and regular as well as a dock for jumping in the water as well. Wading pool in another area and long walking path, volleyball, basketball courts and so much more. There is paddle boarding and kayaking as well. Just an amazing neighborhood park and lake.
parking can be hard, but it's worth it. it feels like one of the only mostly flat areas in Seattle, and it's even paved. my dog loves this park.
Nice park with a paved trail around it, but watch out for the homeless encampments. The trail around the lake is around 5 km - perfect for a short run. The water in the lake is pretty dirty, but apparently swimmable. You can also rent kayaks, water bicycles, or paddle boards.
So much to do here but come early since parking is challenging sometimes. Walking, running, paddle boards, kayaks, volleyball, basketball, tennis, softball/ baseball and just about anything else you can think of under the sun....literally. Great for kids and dogs. One of my Seattle faves.
Beautiful Park. Great place to walk and have picnics. When I went the geese were unusually non-aggressive. The other people at the lake were quite relaxed and friendly. I enjoyed sitting on a bench and watching the people boating and canoeing. I'll definitely be back again.
I was pulling on some kill,in a very pleasant state just taking in the view. Saying to myself,God is something else.
Best place to go for a morning/evening walk. Perfect 3 mile loop trail. During summers, check out for Kayaking and more fun activities around the place
