Went to watch my grandson's t-ball game. The park is nice and there are nice benches to sit on even though most people were sitting on the grass on the side of the outfield. The kids couldn't hit the ball very far and made it easy for the parents to sit there. I had a good time watching the kids try and hit the ball. The way they reacted when they hit the ball brought back memories of my son when he played. We laughed when the game was over and had a nice chat with the kids. The playground was busy even after we left. A nice small park on a nice sunny day. I am sure I will be watching more games there in the near future.
It appears to be under construction Nov 19 2022, possibly to install new playground equipment. The green area is open but the playground and baseball diamond are closed.
Maintenance is planned, but the playground is small and currently in poor condition.
Good park to play soccer there are goals, basketball there is one court, volleyball bring your own net, ultimate frisbee, spike ball, and similar sports or to walk your dog and chill. Grass is decent, not super nice but it's not all dirt.
This is a neighborhood park, that is peaceful. You will be able to at times watch Soccer games, softball games, also go there with your family and children for a relaxing day. The children will also be able to enjoy swinging, and playing games. Also, heck have a small picnic on the lawn area and enjoy a sunny day when granted in Washington. I myself, mosey to the park with my guitar and really find Peacefulness to play Music. I have found that music of course places joy within the Heart of people who happen to be there. So if by chance you are in the area stop by and relax.
Nice open field for frisbee
Well-run by Seattle Parks and Recreation, this is a neighborhood gem. HUGE green field for city standard good for baseball, softball, soccer and just running around. There is a small children playground with swings and stuff. There is a basketball court, too. People are neighbors and are super friendly and nice. It has been slightly ruined by some irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs defecate there, however, that's infrequent and they tend to get called out by others.
Fremont neighborhood park very basic and flat but large
Clean playground with slides, swings, a merry go round, and a sandbox with a metal excavator toy. There is a half court basketball area, a soccer field, and a baseball diamond. No public toilet, but there is a water fountain and a free kite stuck high up in a tree.
Nice area to hang out on a warm day. Mostly frequented by neighborhood locals who bring dogs, families, or friends to be outside. Not an excessive amount of scenery or space, but a much needed patch of green in Fremont.
