Nice little pocket park. Flat level grounds, playground area, plenty of places to sit, clean and kept up. Rather pretty too. Very small, just one of those neighborhood spots where people nearby can go stretch their legs.
Nice space near the library. Has grass and benches to relax and enough space for kids to burn energy.
The homeless camp has been cleaned out, though I don’t have much hope that it won’t happen again, and as with most Seattle parks…keep an eye out for needles.
Great little neighborhood playground with musical instruments, slides and a construction for older kids. The playground is right behind the library, which also has a lot of potential for a fun afternoon with children of any age. Teenagers and adults tend to hangout there as well, mostly friendly in my experience, but sometimes doing adult stuff smoking... you might not want around your child.
Definitely is a park. Has some interesting concrete structures that may be art? I certainly liked the tree I sat under while I enjoyed some pizza. The concrete could use more glitter, though.
Little homeless problem right next to community center and library
I used to enjoy coming to this park with my kiddo, but lately have avoided at all costs. The homeless, needles, and trash littered everywhere have made this park unsafe for kids.
I have changed my rateing from a 1 star to a 4 star. The Lake City PD have steped up their patrol of the park & its working.A big HIGH 5 to LCPD.Thanks.The park is now a place I would bring my kids or grandkids
Noy particularly clean or nice. Frequently occupied by homeless and vagrants. Too bad, because it is very conveniently located next to the library.
It's great don't bring your kids this is an adult playground or should I say Campground
