Went for Sunday Brunch. Nice friendly staff. Lot of seating area. The choice of beers were amazing!!!!!! They’re still not doing the tours. This location has big collection of the Goose Island Bourbon Stout. You can either drink there or purchase to take home. Food was amazing too!!!!
Nice brewery! I loved the fact that they had limited edition brews that you could only get at the brew house - it’s a nice touch and a definite bonus to beer tourists like me. Had a couple of different 6oz pours, so I could try a bunch of beers and not leave fuzzy headed - also nice when you’re a beer tourist. They have a bunch of the bourbon county in bottles - a lot more than I realized they had even done. Well worth a visit.
I love all of the varieties of beers available here, it’s so fun to try all the ones you can only get at this location. The food they have is good too, but I wish they had more appetizer/small plate options. We got the cheese curds which were very good, perfectly crispy. I have yet to try a Goose Island beer I don’t like. I’m not usually a darker beer fan, but the bourbon barrel beers here are so good if you like a stronger beer.
I mostly visited to try the local variants of Bourbon County. Was not disappointed and left with some BCBS! Just the standard bourbon county stouts were available on tap, but there were plenty of other great options too if you visit close to St Patrick's day, they do an amazing mint imperial stout. Great food options availbale too. I went for the triple patty burger, with side of fried chicken! Kitchen closes relatively early so be mindful before making the journey.
Could not have been more impressed with Goose Island! Our server was friendly and made us feel welcome, and even important. The menu had an unexpectedly large selection, including several bourbon county stout variants from current and recent years. The food menu is what I'd describe as creative bar food, that's exceptionally well done. Everything was delicious! The icing on the proverbial cake was the Beer-to-go selection. We procured some impossible-to-get-in-Michigan BCBS variants, making me a very happy camper!
Exceeded all expectations! Good variety of draft beers, ciders, and hard seltzer’s! Friendly staff always keeping an eye if you need another drink. We skipped the food, but it everything being served around us looked awesome! Separate to-go menu so make sure to check before you decide what you want to bring home! P.S. if you’re looking to take home the cider variety pack, make sure they have it available. Bartender was nice enough to make us a personal to-go pack with what was available - but just a heads up so all my cider lovers are not disappointed
Came here with my partner for my birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable although she didn’t notice it was my birthday when she checked my ID, haha. The food was delicious, especially the cheese curds, location was easy to get to, and of course the beer was great. Can’t wait to go back!
This place is fantastic. So many epic beer options. The food that we tried was really good too. I recommend the Caesar salad. We tried several rare bourbon barrel aged beers that you could only get at this location and everyone loved them. The atmosphere is super fun as well. We would highly recommend this place!
Let's start with the good, the beer is a 10, they are all divine. However, the food was a 4 and it is saying a lot considering that the fries were cold, the hamburger was salty and the presentation was nothing to do with the photos on their website.
My favorite brewery in Chicago. They offered a wide selection of beer flavors, and the food was also amazing ribs, cheese curds, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful to help us choose the flavors that we enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend!
