GoodLife Fitness Stittsville Corners

I joined the Carp Road location approx two months ago. The facility itself is clean and staff are courteous and pleasant. My issue .. and its really becoming annoying.. is the people sitting on the equipment texting.. etc. If they were choosing perhaps a music change thats one thing. Every time I go I miss the opportunity to workout on several machines. I try to make it obvious I would like to use it but they continue to sit there on their phonesnIve approached some individuals only to receive a response thats they “ aren't done yet”. I feel the staff needs to be monitoring this regularly. Its hard enough when it gets busy.. but its unacceptable for this to keep happening. We pay to use the gym .. not to make it a place you park yourself and catch up emails and texts.nJennifer Chenier

Giving a 4 star because I love this club but the cleanliness took a dip lately. Stretching area is usually covered in dirt and salt. I know some of these issues are inevitable with heavy winter conditions, however I don’t see any cleaning personnel working lately as well. Please take this review into serious consideration.nnEdit: also still getting gas smell even though the leak is cleared allegedly.

The facility is not being properly maintained. Stains in the change rooms have remained uncleaned for nearly a year, and there are now worms in the drains. It’s disappointing to pay a membership fee for a gym that doesn't prioritize basic hygiene. I would not recommend this location until a deep clean is performed. Note: I've escalated this twice. To staff and to member experience. Nada. Update Jan 16th. Staff put up signs this week stating they were investigating and cleaning. Sign is gone today but the unclean walls, stains and worms are still around.

Went to the Stittsville Goodlife to day as it had a morning hot yoga fusion which I really enjoyed. Wish there were more yin, fusion, Pilates etc hot/warm yoga classes per week though across Hazeldean and Stittsville only 27 total hot and warm yogas across a week, so hard to find times and places that work.

Had a training session with Oliver and it turned into one of the best workouts I have ever had. The pump was insane and he helped me perfect my form on so many lifts. I would definitely recommend him.
