Anytime Fitness

Good verity of machines, and enough plates and barbells to go around without waiting for too long. It's quaint, but surprisingly not too busy. The key feature is the 24 hour availability, there's also private washrooms with showers, always clean too!

I've been a long-time member there, and it's great. It's very clean, and well conditioned. The staff are knowledgeable and always looking to help out. My only quarrels are the space issues- (which I know can't be helped), but classes can sometimes interfere with a workout, so you kind of have to plan yourself accordingly. There is a range of equipment for a variety of training modalities, but a lack of stronger walls for certain sects of training. (dynamic stuff, and all that). Again, I understand the limitations of the building, and the space within, so it's no fault to anyone, and this being the first gym had set the bar very high for the many more to come.

I had a membership at this facility about a year ago. I was promised in my contract that there would be a withdrawal from my account every 14 days, when I noticed that there was money coming out of my account off the specified days I called into the office. The manager at the time did not do anything to fix the issue, it was only when I emailed the head office and told them about the issue that I had that they finally tried to do something about it. The customer service is completely terrible, and the business end is substantially worse. I would never advertise this facility to anyone, I would deter everyone away from this place.

Smaller gym located on the ground floor. Very quick access, clean and friendly staf. It does get busy though.
