Goodies Thrift Retail Store & Donation Centre

This used to be my go to thrift store! But now I find it... more centered in greed. Examples: I was going to get a big space book for my classroom, one of those physically big ones! It was clearly secondhand, it didn't have a price so I asked the person at the counter...they said 25.00!!!! I did not get it... recently they have been putting "as seen on marketplace" on some items... wanting $20 for a pair of shoes that sells for $50 new in store.... in my opinion this is very tacky of a thrift store.... I spoke to an employee about it and mentioned what I thought....since then more items have "as seen on marketplace" featured on them.... all of these items have been shoes .... one pair is from Spring... a thrift store to me is a part of a community trying to support each other... and also a great way to recycle... I thought this store was better than this but I see greed now.

Great store. True thrift store with great prices and committed volunteers. Well organized, clean…and you can tell the volunteers enjoy working there. Bravo!

Definitely one of the better thrift stores in Nova Scotia. Good selection, especially clothes and REALLY good prices. $1 CDs and barely worn button ups for $3 - $4. Appliances and decor are dated but in good condition, and I mean it's a thrift store, of course things will be dated. Staff were very friendly and an overall positive experience.

Fabulous store. Jam packed with everything, including, literally, a kitchen sink. Great prices on most items, plus, they have rotating sales so I spent less than I thought. The store is well-laid out, although the aisles are super small, which can get a bit stressful when the store is busy. Don't forget to bring bags though as they don't provide paper ones, only bags for purchase!

Everything in the store is in very good condition and the prices are great.

Awesome place with an insane amount of good quality items for sale. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to some of the other thrift shops around and we all know who the are. So if you want "Value" see what I did here...lol for your dollar come here and not there. We will definitely be coming back when we have more time to look around.
