Gong Cha

Finally visited Gongcha in Winnipeg Osborne. The drinks were so delicious! I got a Pearl Milk Tea, Black Tea w/ cream, Coffee Milk Tea and Match Milk Tea. The creme brûlée on Black Tea was so luscious, great to dip the pudding into and pairs so well with the black tea. The Coffee Milk Tea is so tasty too, great coffee flavor with authentic milk tea. Friendly personnel BEATA was super patient and she even explained how to drink it. Consistently great drinks. Recommended this place and will be back. Worth a try!

I had tried thousands of different bubble tea brands before I stepped in this store so I might have higher expectations than others. I always order the classic milk tea and my wife ordered a random smoothie. They were great! I can tell the tea was fresh made. My wife told me the red bean smoothie was also great. I also feel safe when I saw them cleaning and sanitizing the seating area and operating area. You could never be too cautious when there is a horrible pandemic, right? Good tea, friendly staff! Definitely will come again!

EDIT: I have now tried other flavours and I am happy to say I'm a Goncha Fan. Their Dirty Brown Sugar milk tea is amazing and their iced black and green teas are good quality. I’ve been to Gongcha once and got my favourite, taro milk tea. The flavour was good and authentic, but the texture was gritty. I liked the taste but couldn’t finish it because of my own feelings about the texture. I hope to go back and try something different that I like more and give it a higher rating! Staff were good at their job, no complaints there.

Returned recently. They still seem very solid. Below is my previous review Don't have anything negative to say about then. Their Wintermelon tea tasted better than I expected. They do offer samples which is nice. We were allowed to try most things such as the grass jelly and different jellies/pearls. Pricing was fine. $4.50 for a medium, $5 for a large. Highest price being around $5.8 for a large I tried the Earl grey with pudding/black pearls and white pearls. It was supposed to be grass jelly but i don't like those. I'm pretty sure they just substituted without an extra charge. I have been coming back a lot for the panda foam milk tea not to be confused with the panda milk tea. I usually get 50% sugar, no ice. I prefer the brown sugar latte elsewhere but it was still ok. Here I would do the other drinks instead. The new trend in bubble tea is customization. I took a picture to explain it better and posted the options as there are many. I would definitely go again. I'm not a fan of the location as I'm not really Osborne based, but that's not a reason to knock a star down. I'll try to go when I can. So far I really like it. The people working there were helpful and friendly. When they made a wrong order for the girl ahead of me, they re made it for free and offered the wrong one to the girl to take home. They also have bags for your tea if you are bringing to friends. They have to go bags that they put trays in to carry out.

tasty drinks!!! though the staff who took my order misheard my choice of sugar level. i asked for ice afterwards and they were willing to do it without any problems!

Friendly staffs. Easy to order. Fast service. I still like the winter melon milk tea a little different from how gong cha tasted from my home country but still good. When I came it's crowded and no available sit so I just ordered to go. If you're driving parking will not be easy.

Great place to get bubble tea. They have so many options milk tea. Bubble tea. Bunch of other types of juices. We got Tarro milk tea with pearl.. Ooo so tasty also the strawberry green tea which was really refreshing Def recommend this spot. Safety precautions are put in place and everyone is masked. Great flavours and they will have something for everyone

Best bubble tea I’ve had and I’ve tried all the popular spots here in Winnipeg. Owner even treated us to a drink thats not even on the menu yet after he heard my sister ask about it. How nice! Genuine, good hearted, hard working people here. Highly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely amazing bubble tea. This was really my introduction to non-slush bubble tea and it was a fantastic way to start. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They make fantastic suggestions either about toppings to add or of drinks to try based on what you like. I love that it's open late so I can fulfill my late night craving. My current favourites are the Earl Grey 3J and the Panda Milk Foam pictured. Delicious!

Absolutely disgusting Goncha branch. Lazy staff/owners with undercooked pearls and jelly of every kind. Save your $$$ and go elsewhere! I would never try Goncha again!!!
