Lin Lan Grocery

For those wanting a good Bánh mì sandwich look no further than Lin Lan Grocery on Ellice Ave. They are served up on a tasty single serving french style baguette and a variety of different fillings my favorite being lemongrass bbq beef they use fresh buns and savory fillings. Whatever you choose you can’t go wrong! At just under $5 it is a lot tastier than any burger you’ll find at a fast food joint. It is well worth the trek to go out of your way especially during the construction on Ellice Ave.

The banh mi is delicious and cheap! It's the perfect snack or lunch.

Delicious Vietnamese subs, vermicelli dishes, and shakes! Great prices but beware of showing up at noon during school days as it gets filled with students from the school across the street and it can take some time to get your food. Otherwise fast and friendly service. Limited seating.

One of the best values in the city that I can think of, not just for Vietnamese food. The subs are delicious, the soup is fantastic, and all of the rolls are scrumptious. If you want to cultivate mass then this is the place for you! Five stars!

Love this place. Great food at a decent price. So far my favorite is the chicken curry sandwich it isn't actually a sandwich, that's just what they named it. It tastes so good and the chicken is super tender, just falls off the bones. Staff is friendly too

Check this place out for a ridiculously affordable and a wide variety of delicious Vietnamese Sandwiches. Additionally serving bubbletea and providing a small grocery store to the community. 5 stars if their subs had a little more inside but at $3.50 for a sub sandwich I don't blame them.

If I lived just a little bit closer to this place I would probably eat here every second day. The banh mi is amazing and crazy affordable! The bubble tea is awesome and they make the tapioca balls perfectly.

Really cute family run place. Food value + quality is consistent with the area = best you could ask for. Staff are full of smiles. I feel bad for rich folk who fear the west end.. you'll never know. Bring $9.03 and your appetite

The best place to grab a tasty Vietnamese sandwhich and/or bubbletea at a cheap price. My favourite hot meal here is their vegetarian/vegetables noodle soup. A small and quiet spot to grab a snack or lunch with a friend or two if one may like.
