Not A Waffle

Super fun place for something different and fun. Would recommend their special toppings and ice cream. Didn’t love the flavors of the cookies and cream but my 7 year old did. Loved the toppings so fun. We loved looking at peoples ice cream while inside

Delicious and creative way to serve ice cream. I really enjoyed the mango one. The pistachio is ok too. The caramel waffle i very yummy as well. Things I didn’t like however is still require masks and proof of vax to dine in. Quite a few ice creams are out if stock last time I visited. As well the process is quite long while ice cream gets ready.

I remember going to the location just off of portage several years and got their macchi soft serve with the takoyaki. Was quite unimpressed but I thought I’d give them another try and I was pleasantly surprised. I got their black sesame takoyaki ice cream. The takoyaki was tasty, soft in the inside and a little crispy on the outside. The black sesame ice cream was think, creamy and full of delicious flavour. The portion is slightly too big for a small treat for me but it was a good size to share with my girlfriend. I’ll definitely be coming back to try out the rest of the menu and I’ll update my review when I do!

Excellent bubble waffle which likes Hong Kong style! Mango ice cream is tasty! Clean dining area and nice staff.

This place was a but confusing to get to. But absolutely worth it! It was cozy inside. The food was amazing! There is also seating options outside as well. The staff there were super nice as well.

We love this shop! Every visit to Winnipeg, my girls beg to visit. Do yourself a favour and read their menu ahead of time as there are so many options. The Matcha ice cream is excellent. My daughter tried the vegan Sakura ice cream in a waffle and it was subtle, sweet, and really, really good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The portions are huge. Each order is a work of art.so be patient while they build it.

This is soooooo good. Amazingly this shop serves their desserts exactly as it would appear in their pictures. You would appreciate how they are meticulously served according to detail. Picture perfect desserts and a heavenly taste. A must-have during summer. This small shop is still not serving dine-in but they have tables and chairs prepared for you to consume your favorite on-site. Their colorful shop is great for those Instagram moments. They are located on a very busy street, so looking for a parking spot can be challenging. But with these great-tasting treats, who cares? I'll have them anytime.

Their desserts are sooo good and unique! And they serve you in less then 4 minutes! I recommend this place if u like ice cream a lot!

*I wanted to add an update* Not a Waffle has a soft serve Ube flavour for April and it is sooo good! Not a waffle is soooo good and so worth the wait for a fresh taiyaki cone or bubble waffle cone. The Sakura ice cream is amazing!! And the custard filled taiyakis are a must try! One of the best ice cream places in winnipeg easily!

The gentleman who made my daughter's storybook-looking dessert was fantastic. Even though it's just an ice cream that's going to get eaten up and he was the only one working, he took the time to make sure that it looked as wonderful as it tasted. The dutch chocolate ice cream is delicious! My coconut milk tea was the perfect refreshing treat on a Friday afternoon as well. We will absolutely be coming back.
