Golden Oak Inn Lewiston

Just recently did a job for the Golden Oak Inn to clean up there buildings and power wash them off, and the live in Manager Renee Wiggins is very nice and courteous!

This place was filthy the door was bent like some one kicked it in you had to prop a chair under the door knob to feel safe, there was not enough parking ,it just made you feel like the cops would be there any minute to make a crack bust there was a 4 inch hole in the bathtub that had need patched we slept in our clothes because of the filth I had to sign a waiver at check in stating I would not steel any of the 1960,s furniture like I would have wanted any of it ,there were signs all over the room telling you how much you would be charged you stole items like micro wave coffee pot, and towels If you have the chance to stay there Run as fast as you can You would be better off staying in your car in a Wal-Mart parking lot

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at rooms are clean. Staff is amazing my stay here feels like home I feel very welcome here as from other hotels in this area they don't really care about there guest the staff here I just can't say it enough they make you feel welcome and if you need something they get on it right away Thanks agian Golden Oak for everything 8-27-17 still staying here love the staff ROOMS ARE CLEAN its just a great hotel..

In the room i rented out for a week; i noticed problems that hadent even been fixed or cleaned up since the last guest. There were clogged pipes and the sink in the bathroom would overflow everytime it was used. The Maids did really horrible sloppy job. They just rushed through and missed cleaning alot of things. There was still food left over from the first guests after the maids had cleaned yet a SECOND TIME! Then they just threw the blanket ontop of un-tucked sheets. The overall service was horrible, especaily the attitude of the owners and the rest of the staff too. I was glad not to stay one more night their overpriced rooms or give them one extra dollar after i heard(and then witnessed myself) that the guests in room next door had found bed bugs under thier matress!!

Rooms monthly are fairly reasonable but should offer breakfast
