The customer service at the front desk and from other staff such as maintenance was wonderful. Very nice, friendly people. One of the front desk clerks even loaned me his phone charger. The hotel itself is pretty old, and it looks like there have been some attempts at upgrading the decor, which is very nice.

We stayed at the fairbridge and loved it! Georgia and Mike were fantastic and Georgia went out of her way to get us checked in early and help us feel at home. Great place with a great price and free breakfast!

For the price we paid on a holiday weekend we were very pleased. It is definitely dated, but it's the best of the budget hotels in town for sure. The beds were thin looking, but they were surprisingly comfortable. We had a 3rd floor room on the river side with a great view of the active railroad tracks right below us. I was initially apprehensive about how much sleep we'd get, but the train only came bye once and didn't blow it's horn anywhere near the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The location is good, not the most upscale part of town, but right down the street from a coffee shop and an excellent waffle house, and right next to two other restaurants. Booking was easy, and the staff is very friendly. It's obviously an older building, and the front lobby smells kinda weird, but the room itself was clean and comfortable. Very good for the price.
