Golden Griddle Family Restaurant

Perfect for Sunday brunch, very family friendly. Fare left something to be desired.

We have been to this location many times and while the food is your standard Canadian breakfast fare, the service is outstanding. Our regular waiter, Raj is quick and friendly, never writes down anything and always gets our orders right. Furthermore, we have dietary restrictions that have always been accommodated and remembered. It is so pleasant to have a waiter remember us every time we walk through the front door!

We go there all of the time. The staff are regulars just like us. The place is empty some of the times which we like-- not too crowded, don't have other customers breathing down your neck, or being rushed to eat to get more people in. The food on the menu is always good. Had the buffet once at the end of the time for the buffet, food was a little old but it was still edible. My friends went there early for the buffet and can't wait to go back.

Recently revisited this location and it was very nice overall! I was impressed with the staff that seemed happy, friendly and eager to help. Came down for the All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet and the selection was pretty decent. Not everything was the best but there were a lot of great meal options to choose from. They were lacking a proper toaster and better toast selection but other than that, it was pretty good. Really liked getting a few eggs made to order as well. It is a bit on the pricy side if you go for an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet though so if you do go for that, make sure you come hungry and take more than one plate.

Lots of regulars on the weekend for brunch/buffet. Standard breakfast choices but done right...and great coffee! Grandkids ages 7 and 4 loved the fact they could help themselves! Good pricing, all round good eatery...we will be back.

Brunch for 4 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. This was close and a known quantity which in itself is a plus for young family dining! Food was fine, service was fine, space was fine. There's nothing special about this place to boost the rating but it's definitely convenient.

I was honestly dreading this experience as Golden Griddle seems like it's winding down its operations throughout the province, however, this location is alive and kicking. The food was more than passable, wasn't too greasy, and was plentiful as it was a buffet. The coffee was filled up on a relatively busy Sunday whenever it needed to be, and plates were cleared promptly. All in all, I was impressed.

Server was very nice today. But she didn't write down my order so me and my wife bet that she would get the order wrong. She did. To be honest we did modify a couple things. But it would not be a factor if u just wrote it down. Food was not so great. The eggs were cold and just had a not so fresh taste to them. I tried to eat it them.... terrible. My wife had an omelet the presentation was nice. But the food looked like it was nuked in the Mic. We both just looked at each other after a few bites..... and we said let's just get the bill.

Breakfast service was quick and efficient. Was there with a large group at 7 am. The three staff worked well to get food the tables. The coffee service was OK but could have been faster in keeping the carafes filled.

To me Golden Griddle is one of my favorite places to go and get breakfast I will always get the buffet breakfast and why not I can have as much as I want or as little as I want you have eggs bacon pancakes. You also have desserts fruits but the desserts are very limited you can also order a omelette Anyway You Want It. there is a person who is stationed at the skillet bar which will make you any on let that you desire any combination the owner I know personally by going there for several years very friendly man if he's there he'll come and greet everybody and ask how they are doing and how their visit is going. Myself I like it very much that I go above and beyond the location that was close to my house has now closed down but I go to the one at Laird and and Eglinton area that is a 12 kilometer drive for me but it is worth it it's a great place to go with friends and family to start off your day and a happy note.
