Amazing service and ambience! Our server was attentive and friendly. It’s a cozy little spot. They started off with an appetizer on the house, their crunchy noodle soup, which was delicious! Everything was fresh and flavourful. We arrived at peak dinner time on a Friday and were able to get a table without a wait. There’s also free parking right by the restaurant on Laird.

They serve and cook with Nimbus reverse osmosis treated water for our "health and enjoyment" which I think is worth pointing out. Great for families too, they gave my kids trainer chopsticks to use. Very friendly and attentive service - our server was especially patient, observant, and kind. I would hoped they use less ice in the drinks, as the ice was large. Their tempura was very fresh and the batter pleasantly crispy. The kids and I enjoyed the experience and taste of the volcano roll and salmon trio combo. I will recommend this place to my friends who live nearby.

We love Kintako. We live in the neighborhood so it is a favourite go-to spot for us. Food is amazing and consistently great quality. Recommend their house crunch noodle soup, unique to this restaurant. Always so friendly and have always been sweet to us. Right now, you can get 10% off your order if you pay with cash for orders over $20. They get pretty busy at times so wait times for takeout or a table during certain times can be a little longer but they take reservations.

Had the Salmon Trio combo along with their crunchy shrimp tempura and it was mouthwatering. Each bite satisfied my salmon craving and I highly recommend getting it! I ended the course with a decadent black sesame ice creamcan opt for chocolate sauce drizzle or without also have someone you’re dining with check your lips . New favorite sushi restaurant as it had a cozy atmosphere with a great tasting selection

My family visited the Science Centre over the weekend. After visiting the centre, our family was very hungry and searched for nearby restaurants. Headed to kintako Sushi, which has a decent rating. Our family is favorite Sushi restaurant, so I thought the taste would be similar. However, reversals of taste and service were waiting for us. First, starting with a painting service for the youngest 3-year-old, noodle soup that was not ordered followed. But It was really great. And, the main sushi and sashimi were fresh and taste. We were able to feel the atmosphere and taste like a highly rated restaurant. Full of taste and friendly service, I highly recommend this restaurant and my family will be going to visit this place again, especially in the patio area not just for the science centre. My family was so happy to end a great weekend in a good place. The soy source was great by chef’s made ; not too salt, not too sweat taste.

The food was delicious! My gf and I ordered the first boat combo B1.. and it was the best decision. It came with a huge spicy salmon roll with cooked salmon on top and raw salmon in the middle and a little spicy sauce. The taste was extremely well balanced. We would definitely recommend it. The service was great too. Our server was constantly refilling our water and tea. Very friendly and outgoing. The owner/chef even came out to ask how every was. Lastly the food presentation and quantity size was above and beyond. All you eat places cost like 40$ per person, we ate all we could eat and had food to spare for only about 52$. Well worth it. Do yourself a favor, check this place out of you love sushi.

We made a reservation and the waiter was waiting for us with great enthusiasm! The ingredients are very fresh and creative Japanese sushi. I recommend the “salmon on fire”, dipping it in salt to enhance the taste! I also like the Japanese decor of the restaurant.

Visited on 10/13, staff is very attentive and the menu has a good variety. The sushi is fresh and delicious and the presentation is spectacular as you can see from the photos attached. Thank you kintako for a great experience. Kid-friendliness: My kids had the beef udon and the gyo don beef rice bowl, good portion and delicious as well.

I visited this place for a dinner. Ordered the T9, it’s like a Bento box with several selections. It’s a special item in the menu. The servers are fantastic. They really provide exceptional customer service. I ordered Sapporo too, my favourite. Will come back.

Likely the best sushi spot in the area. All the food was unique compared to most of the sushi places I have eaten at before, slight changes in the salad dressing, the rice around the sushi tasted cleaner, overall beautiful presentation. Highly recommend. I will return with more friends!
