Golden Corral

Pretty good place for lunch and dinner, except for the fact that it is a little expensive. No complain with food items and their taste. The deserts are very delicious and also good service. If it was a little cheaper, I would have given it 5 stars.

Lately every time we have come in to eat, it hasn’t been very good. Used to be real good. But now the food never seems to be fresh cooked. Fried fish is rubbery. Fries. Shrimp. Chicken. It sits and sits for hours. Tonight here. Not many people at all. I know they can’t dump out food because it’s just not busy. But when it sits so long it’s turning colors and just flat out looks nasty. Then maybe it’s time to rotate some food? We were here an hour just talking and of course eating. And not one single time did they put out any freshly hot food. No rolls. As a matter of fact the same pans of rolls sat there not touched in that hour we were here. I’ve spent my last $50 at this place. It’s gone down. And it used to be our favorite family night out.

We had a great dining experience here. We had gone swimming to a local pool and unfortunately had some personal belongings stolen. As a result, we ended up running late and arrived at the restaurant at about 8:59 p.m. My wife expressed that we had a rough night, and unexpectedly they charged us only for my wife and I and did not charge our three children. They expressed they were sorry for the limited selection as they were close to closing, but the meal was still great. It has become one of my favorite places to dine as the selection is good and the prices are very reasonable. One warning, the pecan pie is richer than Donald Trump.

Amazing place to go for big groups. Has a wide variety of good food. Really good service and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!

I've done a lot of traveling across the western United States, and have eaten at a lot of Golden Corral restaurants. This was by far the worst experience yet. I love their pot roast so naturally it's one of the first items I go for, I made three attempts to get some over the course of twenty minutes. The pot roast looked delicious, but there was no way to serve it. The pulled pork also looked good so I took some of that, but the bbq sauce bottle was so dirty that nothing would come out so I was unable to try the pork. The corn instead of being a nice bright yellow color was more of a brownish yellow and tasted like it's been on the line for hours. I never could get a piece of steak, the cook went to the back kitchen every time I approached the station. There was some cooking, but none available. The strawberries were molding on the salad bar, the mandarin oranges were sour. This was the first time I've seen a Golden Corral use an unidentified brown sauce on the meatloaf instead of ketchup. The fried food (onion rings and shrimp) were cold and rubbery. The bread pudding had a foam consistency, and the hot caramel had a metallic taste. The majority of the restaurants I've visited I've seen the manager busily checking the food, both the appearance and the temperature, not at this one. The manager was either at the register or somewhere in the back. This was a complete waste of money and I do not recommend this location to anyone.
