Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Me and my mom have gone here for years but we’ve noticed the restaurant is just getting dirtier. The last few times we’ve gone in our steak has been straight up raw. When we mentioned the steak being raw they just get an attitude with us then we ask for it to be cooked more they get angry and tell us they cant when its never been an issue in the past asking for our meat to be cooked extra. Highly disappointed with how downhill this restaurant is going

Food was in abundance. Dr Pepper tasted like marshmallows and dreams. Employees were nice.

We went through the drive thru so I can’t comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant.. With that said I was pleasantly surprised with my Barbacoa Nachos see photo attached today about 11:30 am! They were great tasting and perfect. There were a couple of things I want to mention, nothing major, regarding the chips. They were cooked to perfection but every now and then I bit into a chunk of salt and then the next bite I would take would have no salt at all that’s why I gave them a 4 star rating on the food part. Another thing I wanted to mention is the little cup of creamy chipotle sauce that was on top of the plastic package/box it was small for $1.49 but was packed full of flavor! I was pleasantly surprised that it stretched all through the dish! It was just right, not too spicy and not too sweet! At first glance I was thinking “I paid $1.49 extra for this?” But I was wrong! It was perfect. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend the Barbacoa Nachos to anyone! Good job Cafe Rio!!

I've had Cafe Rio before in other towns, and I remember liking it better than I did here. The beans and meat have too much liquid, making the burrito too squishy, and it was over-priced for the quality. Everything costs extra. It wasn't terrible, but may as well go somewhere else for a good burrito.

Ordered food online. Did arrive 7 minutes before pick up time was set. Gal with wild colored hair was rude about us showing up early, said to either circle around the drive through then proceeded to say if you want your food faster just go inside, where they can hand your food right to you. Sure didn’t feel very welcomed.
