Globe Location Auto & Camion (Car & Truck Rental)

DO NOT USE. We had a weekend away all booked and finalised, including a rental car from globe cars. However, when we went to pick it up they said they didn't have our car available or any other cars. Everyone else in the line was told the same thing so everyone's trips were ruined. We couldn't even speak to anyone in person as in the downtown pick up location they have no desk and instead you have to speak to the rude and unsympathetic employees through video call. Do not be fooled by their fake reviews on here and the misleading website that makes it sound a reliable company. It is not. I never leave reviews for anything but felt this was needed to prevent people having this problem. It's cheap for a reason. Go to a more reliable company, spend a bit more money and actually get a car. I can honestly say it's the worst customer service I've ever received. Note to globe car: Do not bother replying to this with your lies and excuses, I don't want to hear them. Note to everyone else: Do not get fooled by the lies and excuses that globe car will still probably reply with.

I have been renting with Globecar regularly for over a year and continue to be very satisfied with their service and cars. Their website is very clear and user friendly making online reservations super easy. They have offices located at convenient locations and an amazing Kiosk service to pick up your rental at later hours when you are unable to have the same service with rival companies. Both their office staff and Live Agents (Kiosk Service) have always provided friendly, polite and professional service. In addition, prices are very competitive and super competitive when taking into consideration upgrades, discounts and coupons. I highly recommend trying their service if you are looking to rent a car anytime soon.

When I went to pick up my reserved car (reservation made 2 weeks before pick-up), the clerk told me that I had to wait 45 minutes because they had no cars and that I had to wait for someone to bring in another car. They told me they just had a huge rush and rented all cars, including the one for me. This is not professional nor acceptable. The next customer got the exact same thing... I never got the promised manager's follow-up call.
