Global Pet Foods

OK, Andy is long gone and this is essentially a new store now. However, I avoid this store unless I absolutely can't make it to my preferred Global location which is much farther from my home. Service is spotty - never know what you will get. 1. Long story short, I was told I could order food and would have it in a week (??) - So I went to my preferred store right after that, they ordered the food - phoned in the order - and I had it the next day). 2. I was ignored by two staff people who were cooing over another customer at the counter. I was obviously looking for something and spent some time searching and some time standing at the counter, but didn't even get a glance, so I left - THEN I was noticed; the conversation behind me suddenly stopped mid-sentence. I should not have to sit up and beg to be assisted. 3. They do not have the same complete line-up of high-quality foods as the much smaller store and don't carry the foods my sick dog can digest. I buy a bed once a year or two but I buy food for several animals every week/month...what is more important to stock on the shelves?? I would have given one star but on occasion I have received attentive service when ALREADY AT THE CASH WITH MY CARD. That's not enough. I will continue to drive past this place unless absolutely forced to shop there.

This Global Pet Foods is amazing. Andy makes my visits worth while. My doberman was going through a change in his diet. He used to eat Blue Buffalo. Wasn't sure what to feed him. Like everyone these days I googled my info. Came across Acana. Went Global since they were the only ones that had it. Andy also took the time to recommend Orijen and told me "If Ace (my doberman) doesn't like it bring it back even though it's open and I'll exchange it for something else." For a day Ace liked it but after that he wouldn't eat it. Exchanged it for Orijen and Ace loves it. Thanks Andy for all your help.

I will not buy anything for my pets from Global Pet Foods Queen St. Brampton store. The owner of the Queen Street Brampton store (Andy) has a lot to learn about how to treat customers. Playing games like that you will surely lose. We used and handed out the coupons he gave us. Brought all kinds of business to his store, even purchasing for others. Made people feel like criminals using the very coupons he handed out!! Even put through the coupon incorrectly. I know it was on purpose from the comments he made upon returning to the store. As promised to Andy, I am letting others know of his behaviour.
