My wife and I purchased 2 large lights from here yesterday. The selection of lights was incredible in the store and the service was prompt. The quality of the 2 lights we purchased was much better than any light from a big box store. They were not tin-thin metal, instead thick with solid joints. We ended up having a minor challenge with one of the lights during install and the Glass Lighting Galley owner was excellent in assisting us right away. We now have 2 gorgeous lights for our patio. We will definitely be shopping here for any other lighting needs we have in the future.

We wanted to give a special shoutout to Ray at Glass Lighting for his professionalism, judgement and responsiveness and for repeatedly going above and beyond to address all of the light fixture requirements for our new home. We would particularly note that the high standards of service did not end after the sale as he continued to address our questions and provide feedback during the installation process.

The selection is amazing and Ray was awesome to deal with- he provided great advice. We purchased 3 pendant lights and a dining room light which all work great with our project

we have undergone a complete condo reno in the past two years since moving in and we had the opportunity to make several purchases from Glass lighting....we were helped by the owner Ray and he was extremely knowlegeable and most helpful in assising us in our selections. He would contact the manufacturer while in the store to determine delivery dates for us so that we could organize and schedule our electrician accordingly...this was so helpful in todays day and age due supply chain shortages , staffing issue etc...he allowed us to take samples home to see if it would work in our condo and return to make final adjustments on our orders...it has been extemely plesurable dealing with Ray and would most difinitely recommend his facility to anyone looking for good quality lighting fixtures and decor. Thanks for all of your help Ray !!!!!!

Very wide selection of lighting, reasonably priced. Helpful and friendly staff. Some areas of the store a bit disorderly and cluttered.

We went in while traveling through Barrie on a whim to scout out some lighting during our renovations. Based on the awesome service we received, high quality products and good selection we bought multiple fixtures. Both my wife and I were incredibly pleased with our experience and although it's out of the way for us, we'd gladly make the trip to shop here again.

In March I prepaid for a light which had to be ordered. Initially I was told that it would take 2 weeks to come in. After 2 weeks, I received a call that it was going to take longer, probably more like 6 weeks. No problem! After the 6 weeks had come and gone, I called to get a status on my order. They NEVER answer their phone, so I left a very detailed message. In fact, I left a message weekly for the next 2 months with no return call. My last few messages were to request a refund on my order, that was clearly never coming in. It wasn’t until my final message, demanding a refund, that I actually got a call back a week later! I finally received a refund 4 months after the initial order was placed. The reason for this rating and review is not because I didn’t get the light I ordered, it is about the absolutely awful customer service of this company. After reading several other reviews, this is obviously not new news!

We ordered a light from here he said it would be 3 weeks still hasn't showed up after 6 weeks so came to the store, says it opens at 9am and the owner shows up after 9. He says he's called but must have dialed the wrong number. .Was talking with other customers that were waiting for their lights as well. Do not recommend this place

Amazing selection for any style of lighting for your home, office or in my situation Raywal showroom in Barrie! They also have a great selection of stools, tables & other furnishings.

I bought a set of Pendant lights that were supposed to be available to pick up 2 weeks after I bought them. I paid the full balance for the items and was told that they would take 2 weeks to arrive. It took over 5 weeks for lights to arrive. Although not in the owners control, they should not commit to a arrival period on the sale and advise customers that they hope that items arrive in 2 weeks but could take up to a month to arrive. This way the customer can decide if they want to potentially wait a month or more. We were in a rush for the items, had we known that it would have taken that long we would not have purchased them and looked for other lights. Further, they should inform the customers that for items that need to be ordered; there is no refund. That was not disclosed. at sale. Very frustrating having to wait and not being able to cancel order after waiting so long.
