Just picked up a Gretsch G5222 from this cool guitar shop in downtown Orillia. The owner was very knowledgeable and made buying there an absolute pleasure. Would definitely recommend!
Customer service went from 10 to almost 0. Making a custom feel bad because they need a service that you offer because you're too busy is not good customer service. I left in tears because he was too busy to help me. He even brought me around the store showing me all the work he has to do. I have no one else to help me with my guitar

Dropped in to see if what they recommended as a practice Amp for my newly acquired used Gibson SG . They took the time to explain the features of their amps, and price matched a Fender amp on Amazon for me. I will most definitely go back when I need something again!
Gilbert ordered me an amazing guitar I play everyday. Went above and beyond during the sale of the guitar. Even helped me out get it earlier than expected with full inspection, tuning, etc. Great guy. Check here first before anywhere else in orillia or barrie.
Great Store... I have delt with Jeff Gilbert for over 10 years, & have always been able to get a good deal. You may find a place with a better price, but you won't find a place with better service. At 68 yrs. young I have delt with a lot of stores, & I still come here, & I'm 70 kms away. Get to know the people you deal with,& you will always be happy with your musical equipment.
If you need to buy any musical instruments in cottage country this is the place to visit, besides selling entry level instruments they also carry a fine range of all classical guitars and other instruments. They also service musical instruments and as well can hook you up with musical lessons.
Jeff was fantastic to deal with. The sales and service were excellent on a bass I purchased, and the price was very competitive. I would definitely recommend Gilbert Guitars!
