Story

Combining day-time classes during the term with special events after hours makes the George Ignatieff Theatre a hub of the Trinity College community. Guest lecturers, new authors, conferences, meetings, cultural groups, dance companies, student and professional plays are among the many attractions found here.

The theatre, on the ground floor of the Larkin Building, directly south of Varsity stadium, is conveniently located for community groups that rent the facility on evenings, weekends, and in the summer. It is the home of the Trinity College Dramatic Society.

For Box office information, please contact the Event Organizers directly. The George Ignatieff Theatre does not operate a box-office service. Any box office information that we have is listed on our Calendar, which can be found on our Trinity Website.

"178 Seat Theatre at Trinity College in the University of Toronto. This venue is used as a classroom during the day for the Fall and Winter academic terms. It is a lecture, conference, and performance space on evenings, weekends and outside of the Fall and Winter terms. Events are organized by staff, faculty and students of the University of Toronto and also by community groups. Rental fees apply."
