Annex Improv

I had no idea what to expect and was terrified of the idea, but Brian is an excellent facilitator and creates a fantastic atmosphere that is supportive, fun, wacky and wonderful! Although dreading my first class, that dread immediately turned to anticipation and I looked forward to each week. I learned a great deal in my four-week course, and found that it boosted my confidence and delivery. I’ll be returning for more improv, so that pretty much sums it up! A satisfied, return customer!!

I was absolutely terrified going into these classes, but Bryan has such an easy-going nature that I quickly forgot how out of my element I felt. Every class was full of different activities and a lot of fun. Bryan, thanks for creating such a safe and encouraging space for total beginners.

I can't speak highly enough about Annex Improv! In the words of Brian, the director/facilitator: "this class is laughter medicine!" The intro to improv class helped me get out of my head and into my body, to be more present and playful in my everyday interactions with people, and helped me learn to trust myself. In just a few weeks I noticed positive improvements in my overall mood and more clarity in my thinking skills at work. Brian does a great job of guiding you gently through the process with fun and silly warm-up activities and improv exercises. Yes, it can be a little bit scary to step out of your comfort zone, but the other participants in the class are all in the same boat and you end up creating really warm and supportive connections. If you're feeling shy and on the fence about joining -- you're in safe hands! This class might just change your life. It changed mine!

Yes, Brian is a great instructor! And, definitely I recommend him. Fantastic location adequate for engaging group activities. You learn transferable skills to work/life.

What an outstanding experience. Way better than the tap dancing class that was full.
