GC Jerk Xpress

I came by as this was local and we wanted some jerk chicken to go. This has to be some of the best jerk chicken in Toronto - smoky, cooked to perfection, and well seasoned just look at that FRESH thyme! Service was great too, much better than expected and MUCH better than other jerk spots! Prices were also quite fair. If you’re looking for some jerk right now, just come by here. You’re welcome! We got the jerk chicken with oxtail gravy, rice and peas, and coleslaw. 10/10 would eat again.

First the food… it had taste and flavourful. Not too spicy, but good enough to let the flavour of the spices go through. Salad was fresh. The rice was a bit hard, but the festival was fresh and delicious. Place is very small with a few small tables. Primarily a take out place. Service was good and the place was clean.

Just wow!!!! Jerk chicken was so Damm tastey. Just had my 1st bite and had to stop to write this review. Owner was very friendly. Great customer service and great food. Will definitely be back here

GC Jerk catered our meals each week and let me tell you, it was always something good! Others who had a plate spoke highly of the food and had similar experiences of their own. When children get excited for coleslaw and mixed vegetables, you know something is done well. They really loved the jerk pasta. I highly recommend this establishment for your catering needs, or even to take a break from being out of the kitchen. The staff are also warm and welcoming which makes you want to come again!

I have to say this is the best place for Jerk Chicken i drove all the way from Hamilton just to come here the best service the best food, there is no competition just pure love and great food, i hope to come again soon here.. would suggest everyone to come here and once try there food its something Amazing!!!!!!

We were passing by the area and wanted to try some Jamaican food in the area and enjoyed the Jerk Chicken and rice and peas. Only thing wished there was more coleslaw but portion overall decent. The staff are also very friendly here. We would definitely come back and order again.

I was so excited to try Jerk Express, I drove by multiple times and husband surprised me with succulent jerk chicken and festival. The chicken was juicy and smoked right, The festival had an unusual delicious taste , it was drizzled with a mango sauce then topped off with shredded coconut. It was still hot when my hubby brought it home. I would definitely recommend Jerk Express, it was delicious. Nice to know there’s a nice Jamaican restaurant in the neighbourhood.

New spot on the black! And I gotta admit, I’m impressed! The service was quick and excellent! The food is well prepared and evenly seasoned! The chicken was juicy and flavourful! Definitely a welcome taste! Surprisingly the food is also on the lower end when it comes to pricing! But the quality and quantity certainly are not compromised on!
