Great pizza spot in the path! I've always walked past it and wanted to give this place a shot. Checked out the reviews and had to try Fabbrica for lunch. Fresh, hot and delicious pizza. I got the pepperoni square slice and it was FIRE! Crispy crust and full of flavour - also you have to try the dip, it was super fresh and complimented the pizza wonderfully. Definitely will be coming here to try the sandwiches, pasta and maybe just everything on the menu :.
No surprise Don Mills closed, food and service was horrendous! I heard that from so many people. So dark you can't read the menu. All I got was 3 little pieces of short rib and nothing else. Wasn't told you have to pay for everything. Real ripoff any very expensive. Had to order a pizza when we got home!
Don't know about their other food, I tried the pepperoni pizza square. The price was high, but only slightly more than typical for the TD/RBC/BMO centres. On the plus side it was filling and the pepperoni was high quality. On the minus side as pizza it was underwhelming - - it was a greasy, soggy, floppy mess with much too much cheese that I had to wait 15 minutes to get. You can better spend your 15 minutes getting some exercise and walking over to Pizzaoli the only nearby chain pizza at Yonge and Adelaide where you can get a quality thin crust slice for a couple of bucks less. Wheelchair accessibility: The TD Centre is "accessible," but expect to have to do a long complicated detour if coming from the RBC centre in a wheelchair or on crutches.
Tried the funghi good variety of mushrooms and the one with rapini no pic. Both were pretty good. Service is fast and organized. I did eat it with a knife and fork but the crust was baked nicely so you might as well just eat it with your hands. Pizza is thick crust deep dish/pan?. I prefer thin crust but the pizza was good...i’m a sucker for truffle oil. The party i went with enjoyed their pizzas as well. Not much seating. Haven’t tried their hot table or pastas. Good addition to The Path.
Disappointed in my first time trying the pizza here. Wasn't busy able to order quickly took a while for the pizza but not unreasonable for what I thought would be high quality slice for the price. Pizzas in the window looks great and fresh. What I received in the box was not. I ordered the meatball pizza, the crust was soggy no way to eat without utensils. The toppings were dried out like it had been under a heat lamp for way to long and below the toppings the dough was wet possibly not fully cooked. Toppings just slid off it it was so slick. The flovour in the toppings were delicious however and if fresh and cooked well wold have been great. Unfortunate, I had high hope for it considering how good the pizza in the display looks.
Great tasting and looking food with so much options of great Italian selection. The hot plate offers soo many options that are fresh and soo good.
Ordered the rigatoni... and the pasta was hard. It wasn’t even cooked properly! Also it’s supposed to have veal, beef and pork meatballs but there were maybe 3 in total. The taste of the sauce wasn’t that great either... overall just very disappointed.
This place looks good from far but unfortunately is far from good. $13 for what is supposedly a crispy eggplant sandwich is an outrage - I can forgive the price as it is the Path after all - but the size too small, taste nothing like a eggplant and just the blatant lack of any crispy-ness is a joke. One bite into the sandwich and I was done.... They need a refund policy on their website. They’re trying to make Italian food at this place, but they are so far off the mark they should be embarrassed. Try Sud Forno, Forno Cultura, even the place in the basement of the St Lawrence market - all far better than this place.
Disappointing. At this price point - and probably at any price point - you shouldn’t be served old food. I sometimes stop here for lunch when I am in a rush but will no longer do so because of the poor food quality. The lettuce for my salad today was brown and wilted. They even included the butt of the lettuce. You can tell it was from Friday … and today is Monday. I have gotten pizza here before that was super stale.
We use Fab quite a bit for clients that want pizza lunches, the reviews are always great, although it is an expensive option for pizza it is always well recieved. If there's anything leftover we always enjoy having it, even if it's cold!
