love the flavours here. we had the soup of the day and potato scramble with chicken sausage, tofu, kale... It seems to be a local favehipster-ish and would love to try their breakfast menu next time we visit.
If Farm to Table is your thing, Gabriel's is the best breakfast in Nanaimo hands down. Good value, friendly staff. Excited to try lunch next.
It's been great watching Gabriel's restaurant grow. The food is good, as is the service. and you can order online so you don't even have to go inside! Innovative restaurant, if local and community matter to you you should support them. Friendly and caring owners
The food is very good, which means that they're always quite busy! Count on a wait for a seat if you go during peak hours. Service is order at the counter, and then sit down at a table, not much in the way of interaction with staff which is not a bad thing in these times. A must when in Nanaimo!
My favourite place for brunch! I am always impressed by the quality AND quantity of food for each meal. I usually get the Hey I'm a Vegan and love it every time. Such friendly staff and atmosphere as well.
Wonderful eggs Benny the hash browns were perfect. Amazing service. Super friendly, helpful, and kind. So easy to order, right from the website enter your table # and pay. Almost no physical contact, more places need this.
First time there and during Covid, staff was great , friendly and willing to train the customers. They have table service, but you order at the coffee bar. Portions were big and taste was fabulous! Breakfast all day, who doesn't like breakfast for lunch!?One of our kids favorite spots. Will be back when we get the chance.
Really enjoyed the vegan Poke Bowl & vegan Tunisian Tagine bowl - delicious food, great portions and really friendly staff at Gabriel's Cafe.
