Story

Front Row Sports is the premier destination in the Niagara Region for hockey equipment, skate sharpening and repairs, and other sporting goods and apparel. Our Thorold Superstore at 133 Front St. North is our headquarters and one of six locations that include St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and newest location in GRIMSBY, Ontario. Our USA locations include our WNY flagship in West Seneca and premier pro shop in Williamsville.

Knowledgeable staff that are very helpful and the store stands behind the products and service. I have bought a lot of goalie equipment here over the years and I have never had any issues. Yes, they might be a little more expensive than Sport Check and others in run of the mill equipment but there is no comparing the service or the knowledge level of the staff. I would highly recommend.

Not impressed. Everytime I walk in there it's social time for staff and if and when you get help, it's half-assed and condescending. Guy that was selling me hockey equipment did not know a thing about it and tried selling skates too big rather than just saying we don't have your size, why don't you check out sport check or Buckner's, etc. Stuff is overpriced (some is used and priced like new), go elsewhere. Not worth it. Especially if you're not from Thorold. It's a Thorold social club in there.

Front Row provides a high level of service. You will pay more than at big box stores, but you will leave with skates that fit you properly. In my case, they took over an hour to go through multiple pairs of skates until finding the pair that fit me perfectly. I could have gotten a less expensive pair at SportChek or Canadian Tire but I wouldn't have gotten the attention to proper fit.
