Frisbie Moving & Storage Company - Ann Arbor

We used Frisbie for a move from Michigan to Maryland and had a bad experience from beginning to end - I would not recommend them to anyone. We signed a contract with Steve for a full pack but he submitted the paperwork for a partial pack, so only one person showed up to pack a 4 bedroom house. The packer contacted his boss who contacted Steve to send another person out, but he was a couple hours late to start and all the packing did not get done the first day. The day of loading our hardwood floors were scratched from furniture being dragged and the newly painted walls were scuffed all along the stairwell. I brought this to the attention of the supervisor and he said he didn't know who was responsible for the scratched floors and was unapologetic. On arrival several pieces of our furniture were damaged (some badly) and we had to file 11 claims. Everything is going in storage so I have no idea what state our breakables or framed items are in. The crew definitely did not take extra care in padding, wrapping, or loading any of our items. Lastly, our mattresses and box springs were not wrapped because the packers didn't have the correct size mattress bags. We were assured they would be wrapped but they were not, and were loose when delivered. This is our first time using professional movers and it was a stressful and unpleasant experience. I spoke with customer service for United and they said they were unable to refund any of our money and to pursue it as claims. Buyer beware!

Frisbie movers helped us twice, moving out of our home and moving back in after it was rebuilt after the tornado. They supplied us with boxes and portable wardrobes to prepare for the move. The movers were professional, hard working, and courteous. They arrived promptly and were careful with our belongings. I was most amazed when they disassembled a bunk bed, moved it, and reassembled it in my son's new bedroom! They also stored some of our belongings while we were in transition and delivered them when we were ready to receive them. I was most pleased when working with Frisbie's manager. He was very flexible in helping us find a date to move. I will certainly be using their services again should we move in the future.

Once again Frisbie's team helped my family move and Tim and Keith were very helpful in getting everything on and off the truck with a few side stops to Play it Again Sports and a Consignment Shop. Once again they were prompt, kind and courteous. Thanks to everyone for a stress free move!
