Delicious cute brunch spot in Carleton place. I’ve had the salman eggs Benedict before which was amazing. This picture is the Cajun breakfast bowl and let me tell you this was amazing! I highly recommend! It was my third time here and I’d gladly come back! The wait time today was a bit longer than usual on a Sunday morning
stopped in before a wedding to kill some time. this place is SO GOOD. its super modest inside but the food is INCREDIBLE. i had the "billy goat" eggs benedict & it will live in my head rent-free until i make it to carelton place again. husband got the burger & added a fried egg = perfection. our server was so sweet. friendly, fast, reasonably priced and so delicious. highly recommend - ill be back every chance i get!
Great spacious spot, very friendly service, versatile menu, easy free street parking and food came pretty fast! We loved the flavour the freshness .. was our first time but will definitely be back :
Came with my mom on a Tuesday morning. Had a sign on the door saying they were understaffed but happy to serve. Went in, place was pretty full! Server was clearly busy but greeted us immediately and said she’d be right with us. Was so amazed at how prompt and thorough the service was despite being the only one on the floor. Breakfast was super tasty and my mom says her eggs were “cooked to perfection.” Coffee was the perfect roast – bright and flavourful. Big portions, crispy bacon, and even heard a goodbye from the kitchen as we were walking out. Get the good energy at this place – enjoyed the playlist too!
Last time we went, I found waiting in the front uncomfortable. You're in the way, there's no seating. They didn't offer menus to browse. Other than that, overall pleasant experience. Was satisfied with portions and prices. Excellent variety on the menu. Cute interior. Nice staff. Eggs Florentine and southwest Benny were both excellent. Vegetarian options: Had eggs Florentine spinach eggs Benny with feta last time and the southwest Benny this time, Didn't miss the meat.
Fantastic! My mom and I each had the Budda Bowl see photo, and my dad had the fish tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious, with good portion sizes for the price. My parents also had the club sandwich previously and were very impressed. Being a capital city, Ottawa and its surrounds suffer from way too many tourist traps, but Freska is a great example of a local place that is doing things right!
Delish as the other times we've been there. Didn't take ant pics of our food but I had a hankering for the chicken and waffles, massive and finished that delectable dish. Hubby had the eggs Benny no complaints from him Parking: We were actually very lucky , we got a spot in front of restaurant. But we got there around 1:30ish after lunch rush and this closes at 3 pm.
Went to Freska for my birthday breakfast. The waffles and cream was very delicious! I would recommend it! My partner had eggs and steak and really enjoyed his food as well!
Absolutely fabulous spot for delicious & unique breakfast and brunch. Fresh food cooked perfectly and served by some of the best wait staff we've had. Chicken & waffles, Billy goat eggs benny, huervos rancheros, all SOOOOOO good!
Amazing breakfasts. Great service. Would definitely recommend this breakfast place!
