Had amazing experience here, the food was phenomenal and was ready in a timely manner. Stephanie was an exceptionally good waitress and made this not just a good place but a great place. Love the atmosphere, has a very cool modern vintage feel. Overall was very happy with the service, food quality, atmosphere and cleanliness
Started off bad. Waitress said within the first minute “I’m bad with time”. Ordered Mac and cheese for my daughter, was served Kraft dinner with bagged shredded cheese on top. The kids meals come with a side and a dessert included, never received the dessert, and was served frozen microwaved broccoli for “steamed mixed vegetables”. I returned the “Mac and cheese”. Just plain dishonest to try and serve something I can make at home for $2 for 10.99 and think you’ll get away with it? What kind of restaurant serves food like that? They did take the Mac and cheese off my bill, but charged me for the gross broccoli…. Why? When it was included as a package in the kids meal. My breakfast was decent, toast was burnt and bacon was cold… was excited to try this place out, will never come here again. Eater beware. This was embarrassing, dishonest, lazy, and a massive disappointment. I don’t know how they stay in business
We've been to this location 3 times now. Dinner food has been good both times, breakfast there were issues with food quality but that's understandable considering the volume of people for breakfasts. Dinner was never overly full with people, though we haven't been on busy nights. Service is quick and staff are friendly, they didn't do food check-ins to see how it was or if we needed more drinks but otherwise very positive experience. They also have a nice lounge space for when you're waiting for your meal and it's very kid friendly with kids books to read as well as a play diner.
Very pleasant place to come for a family meal. Food is decent and represents very good value for money as the portions are generous and the prices relatively affordable. Service is extremely friendly and though it's not going to win any awards for atmosphere it's perfectly fine for what and where it is. Kids under ten eat free Sunday to Thursday from 4pm which is a nice bonus - I've only been once but there were noticeably a lot of families there in various forms. There's highchairs which I saw another reviewer complaining about because of the lack of trays but seemed fine to me if you just pull it next to the side of the table. Lots of free parking and convenient for a few other places like LCBO and Starbucks if you really want to make a big night out of it. Overall we spent about $20 dollars a head and were very full and happy so will definitely return at some point. Kid-friendliness: Family orientated place. Parking: Unlikely to ever be an issue.
Wow!!! This is officially our new favourite breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner place. Service is incredibly fast, food is delicious and the servers and staff are so attentive, polite and helpful. The food portions are huge and the kitchen was great with making sure to follow proper food handling to ensure my allergies and dietary needs were met. The prices for the amount of food is crazy - you'll definitely need a box for leftovers! Best homefries and french fries in town and tons of vegan and vegetarian options which you don't see at a lot of the other local restaurants. We've been here twice already this week and I'm sure it'll be three times by the end of the week!
The food was decent, don't go expecting something extraordinary. Great open atmosphere, service was also pretty good. Total side note, please get decent sets of salt and pepper shakers, current ones are terrible.
Service is friendly and efficient, food was to the table quickly and was hot and tasty. Not a huge menu but that is fine …they are a diner and they do that very well. We will be back.
This is an updated review on a 1 star review I had a year ago. I decided to give this restaurant another try and I'm very happy I did. The service was great, especially our server Hailey. She was very friendly and her upbeat attitude brightened me and my wife's day. They also have this very cool and unique section for families with children's books and couches. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
1 Star - For good food. 1 Start - For decent atmosphere/resturant/lots of booths. Where they lack is with their front house and waitressing staff. This is our third time eating there and this time we decided to order our food to go so we didn't have to deal with the unprofessional staff after waiting for our order to be taken while they hid as usual. One gentleman ran around and did the job of the two females and his own while they complained about having to roll cutlery while hiding from customers. Thank you to this gentleman - without you we wouldn't have even bothered ordering tonight. The front house staff is unattentive and unprofessional. Quite often they ignore/hide from customers and you can constantly catch them complaining about their job. This makes for a very poor indoor dining exsperiance. That being said the cooks do well with consistency and that's what keeps us coming back. We likely won't be eating in anymore as the service is so poor - which sucks as milkshakes to go aren't as good... guess we will be finding a new sit down milk shake spot.
I've eaten at this location a few times now. Food has always been very good. Service is great, fast and friendly. To be honest I'm not too concerned about the atmosphere. But it's very nice inside, clean and bright, easy to get around if you have to.Food: 4/5
