The RR Tracks out back worried me. However the train is a tourist sightseeing train and runs during day hours in the tourist season NOT in the off season. You'll hear it going out (not sure of the hour) and you'll hear it coming back. No freight trains roaring by in the night! Yay! Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Good hot breakfast every morning. Very friendly and courteous staff in Every department. Ellsworth by nature has a drug and therefore a crime problem not particular to this hotel. A work vehicle was stolen from the back lot while we were there. Lock your car anywhere in town and park in the front of the hotel if you have tools or an easily stolen vehicle. No other vehicles were tampered with that I observed and the culprit was apprehended the next morning.

The staff here is the best they treat everyone who walks through their doors great. there is no pool. the breakfast is not so good. the price was pricey but the staff's helpful kindness makes up for that. we would stay again

Good location about 15 miles from Acadia NP. Clean, nicely decorated, quiet room. Extra towels, had fridge. Sink outside of bathroom. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Not a lot of choices for close dinner restaurants unless you drive to Bar Harbor.

The entire hotel staff did well but the staff at check-in was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent job!

This has been a very pleasant stay and the best Comfort Inn we have stayed. Staff very accommodating and nice selection for breakfast. Cleanliness is important and our room was excellent.
