Where we are: Hancock, Maine is situated off the beaten path in the coastal area known as Downeast Maine, minutes from Frenchman Bay. Shopping, hiking, golfing, tennis and exploring are all available within a short car ride. Five miles away down the Hancock Point road is a quiet summer colony that offers one of Maine’s most beautiful panoramic coastal views and is great for both sunrises and sunsets. A 20 minute drive to the north brings you to a 32,000 acre conservation preserve offering ponds and trails. Ironbound is a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor; 25 minutes to Winter Harbor;10 minutes from Ellsworth. 1 hour from Bangor; 3 hours from Portland. Convenient to everything, but just far enough away. Maine lodging at it’s best.
