The manager is totally useless.nI reserved a bag on 2good2go. I prepaid as you have to with the app. I drove out of my way to go pick it up . I went in and shopped for some other items to make the trip worth while. I paid for my items and showed the cashier that I was picking up the bag . Shr went to retrieve it , stated that there's nothing there. She paged the meat department. 15 minutes go by . She pages them again. Finally the manager comes and says they do not have it . I show them that I purchased one snd have not picked it up . The manager says there is nothing they can do that they don't run any of it and its all 2good2gos fault. He says he knows nothing about the app and that when you pick up you go to the freezer and take the bag then go to the cashier after which is not what the instructions on the app says . The manager was not helpful at all and said it's not his problem to contact 2good2go.nAnother employee was k8nd enough to try and help me contact the app for a refund. I would not shop at this location in the future due to the manager not caring at all and making no effort to make the situation better.

I’ve been coming here for years and every time the store is always very clean and organized. Peggy, Xavier and Ken are all very friendly and knowledgeable about products. They take the time to listen and find the right items for you or help you with the rewards system.nnFood Basics is definitely the right choice if you want to save money on groceries. They always have awesome sales every week and products are always stocked up.

Great store but their customer service needs to be improved. I've emailed both their corporate office and the store manager several times asking them to stock a certain size and brand of lactose-free yogurt but still waiting after several months. Yet Sobeys down the street stocks what I'm looking for.....so this store is not as customer oriented as they should be.nnUpdate....I have just recently received an email from the store manager Jeff informing me they now are stocking the lactose free yogurt I've been asking for and he offered a free tub to compensate me for my patience and understanding while they resolved my request. I am now a satisfied customer and will continue to enjoy shopping at the Fonthill Food Basics.

Getting very tired of seeing tomatoes with the 'Canada or Mexico' sign in front, and then seeing the USA stickers on the tomato, or in the case of the cherry tomatoes, on the container. Still trying to buy Canadian here, don't appreciate the deception! EDITTING MY REVIEW: It keeps happening, and the produce workers claim ignorance. I'm glad to see the media has picked up on this. Why are our own people working against us?

Very clean store. Produce is always fresh. Staff are always very helpful and polite willing to help in anyway.
