I adopted my puppy back on September 1st 2018, I had literally nothing for her and had a long drive home so we stopped into this pet valu for food/harness etc left the store happy with our purchases and the service. We got into our truck and our battery was dead . We had to wait for CAA to bring a new one and it was taking hours. That day was extremely hot outside and I was worried about my 8 week old puppy being outside to long, so I went back into pet valu explained what happened and they grabbed her a bed to sleep on, gave her a treat and water and made her comfy while we waited with no hesitation. The women who helped us was amazing! I appreciated that more than anything! She went above and beyond for us and made our very stressful day less stressful. My boyfriend and I have never forgotten that! I recently was looking back at photos and found the photo I took of my puppy laying in the store and needed to write a review. Very long over due review. Forever thankful for that lady who helped us! This is Sophie and the bed the lady let us use to keep her comfy while we waited with her treat laying beside her!
Absolutely the most amazing staff... During covid they were able to trim and clip my bird by appointment and make him Happy again... He was miserable because of his overgrown claws and they took such amazing care of him for his clipping.. They were fast, friendly, and amazing towards my angry bird.
Very friendly staff and they always seem to have a good amount of stock on hand.

The knowledgeable, kind and caring staff that work at the Fonthill Pet value store are always willing to assist and find the right products needed for our dashounds. Being new pet parents, with little to no knowledge of puppies, we heavily rely on their expertise. We look forward to going in to shop and VALUE having this team at our neighborhood pet store.
Employees are what makes this store! I have always had an awesome and welcoming experience coming to this location no matter who is working at the time.
I used to love this store but after today I'm not a fan. I called and asked for a product and the girl on the phone says they have it in stock. Get there and they don't have it. Thanks for wasting my time today.....and don't give me attitude as I walk out the door. You don't know my story.
Had my two dogs here a few weeks ago. I think they brushed them and made them real good and fluffy, but didn't cut their nails or trim the ears or butt area on the cocker spaniel at all or trim the other ones nails. They look like they did before they went in again. Wasted $150.
Extremely happy with the kind and attentive service from Rebecca and forgive me, didn't get a name. Nice to know that during this awful time in the world that a light hearted visit to a pet store and make you leave with a smile! Thank you ladies.
This is a cute little pet shop in fonthill. They have everything you need for "normal pets". If you're looking for a lot of selection for reptile or fish products, they probably won't have it. But they have lots of stuff for cats, dogs, bunnies, and rodents.
