Noise level here was pretty good where we were (near the office). The people running it are great--friendly, attentive, helpful and fun. We enjoyed them very much. As far as the grounds themselves are concerned: I personally prefer 1) A bit more shade and 2) Better waterfront situation--the lake, to me, was "just OK"--your mileage may vary. Probably more fun to fish in than swim in. This is an old boy scout camp, so there are buildings here and there throughout the campground. There is a high percentage of seasonal folks who are here for the entire summer so not a lot of empty spaces for random campers. The prices are great for a campsite and for wood. Not much to speak of for a camp store and the ice machine happened to be broken while we were there so we had to make a trip into town for more ice. We met a lot of nice folks here.

Laid back, friendly campers, dogs welcome, have fresh bait, and people tend to mind their own business. Sunsets on the lake have been really nice!!! REALLY needs a fishing dock so kids can fish out past the vegetation. Bathrooms and showers could be better, but are functional. Overall, really like it here and find it relaxing.

We were only there 20 minutes. The site was drove 8 hours to get to had the water spigot over 30 feet from the site. When we tried to get help with the issue the response was "We have had bigger campers than yours in that site." On the way out I used the restroom and that solidified that we needed to leave. The toilets are separated by curtains and you have to walk through the first toilet to get to the second. Disgusting!
